Another wonderful Learning & Leadership Conference
Really strong presenters sharing thoughtful insights and solid research. I always take a ton of notes at these conferences and return to the notes many, many times when I need inspiration.
This was a good investment of time over two days!

HCI did a great job with the virtual conference
HCI did a great job with the virtual conference and most sessions were short enough but also full of useful information I can use in my current role.

Great conference!
Conference flow was really well planned. It moved from presenter to host to transition time really seamlessly. That's hard to do.
Conference presenters on day one (for the ones I was able to attend) were exceptional. Day two presenters were a mixed bag, some seemed well prepared. I was really quite shocked and put off by Peter Lynch saying the best term he could think of for a bad manager was a douchebag. Seriously? That's language I expect from 15 year old boys, not the "head of people & culture". IDK how he thinks that is appropriate at all for a workplace AND to retell to an audience of strangers, I'm sure at least half of which were women. It was incredibly insulting. I was looking forward to Megan Karsh's presentation, but it felt like a 2 hour workshop condensed down to 30 min. Otherwise, the presentations were pretty good. My two favorite sessions were David Rock & Miguel Joey Aviles-Perez. Those were exceptional!
I know how hard it is to produce a virtual conference, this one was executed very well. A couple of hiccups with technology but nothing to make or break. Opening with clear instructions about how and who to contact for technology issues, questions for the host, etc. is helpful. Chat I think was disabled on day one until about half way through and it also wasn't intuitive to locate it.
One thing I've learned from producing these types of events... people never read emails (including me) and even though we kept being told we got an email with the cafe menu attached, I didn't. If the technology allows in the future, consider making the documents available for download in the session. Put all the links in a separate document and make that available for download. Maybe an FAQ document as well... like here's where you'll find recorded sessions, here's how you participate in polls, helpful tip to open as another browser window, etc.
All in all, this was well thought out, planned carefully, and executed about as well as can be expected. I was thoroughly impressed with the content, presenters, and HCI as the host. The attention to detail even in the transition periods was exceptional. Normally I just share a google timer so people know how long until it's time to return, but I'll reconsider that for future. Thank you for all the hard work and long hours that went into making a memorable conference!

Great conference
Great conference! Relevant topics; quality speakers; well-planned; and well-organized. Gained data and statistics that can be used to support L&D business cases, initiatives, and projects and "future of work" proposals. Walked away with some powerful tips and ideas that can be implemented in my organization.

A conference on line? WHAT?
At first, I was skeptical about an online conference but after attending it, I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The price was attractive as well as the time saver of not having to travel. Presentations were topical and presenters were polished and engaging.
I'll come back next year.
Thanks for a great show!

I loved the energy and the expertise of…
I loved the energy and the expertise of those who presented. Lots of great take-aways that can be immediately implemented and some for more long-term strategic planning. Time very well spent and appreciate that as a virtual class, it did not run for 8 hours straight. The timing seemed perfect with the right amount of breaks in-between. Thank you HCI!
