Won't honor their gift cards. What a scam. I like it when the customer support says "we recognize the value of the gift card you hold". Obviously not, otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation.

BUYER BEWARE! Hammacher Schlemmer a quality company with sometimes unique products. However, the quality part is no longer the case. I bought a lamp a few years ago with a lifetime warranty. The company now says they bought out the original company in November of 2025 but, while they enjoy using the name they won't honor the warranty for my lamp which, now needs a replacement. Whatever I replace it with definitely won't be from this company.

I HAVE A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR A DEFECTIVE PRODUCET REFUND-- THEY REFUSE TO HONOR IT. In our state, gift certificates cannot expire. Hammacher said they didn't buy previous owners debts when they bought the company so, no they won't honor it. Do not buy from them

Bought a product with a lifetime warranty and now they won’t honor it. Slimy company - Don’t recommend at all

The worst. They were bought out. Not the same company that was around for decades and reliable. Their name was bought and they sell cheap, Chinese junk for premium prices. No customer service phone number. Took two weeks for a delivery of a pillow and when it came it was in the manufactures display box.

I purchased a Capillus Laser Light Therapy Cap in 2022 at a price of 3000.00 . It was sold to me with a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Now that I’m having issues with it , they no longer offer any support nor will they honor any warranties since their acquisition. HOW CONVENIENT FOR THEM ! I will never buy anything from this company ever again , and from numerous reviews I’ve read , terrible customer service is pretty much the norm for them. To anyone who does , All I can say is … Good Luck !

I bought the 'world's best nose trimmer' from Hammacher Schlemmer, along with many other items, but will not be trusting them anymore. Apparently, since the company was purchased their 'Lifetime Guarantee' is not real. They changed their policy to only a year and you have to pay return shipping. What a stroke of bad luck or I should say, bad business. Two thumbs down for Hammacher Schlemmer... don't trust them with your money.
