I have been waiting three months for an set of chairs and a table for outdoor patio. Many promises; not performed

We all kind of expect to pay more when shopping at Hammacher Schlemmer for: 1) a better level of customer service or 2) a product not offered elsewhere. However, I just purchased a raised herb garden by VegTrug from H-S and paid $149 PLUS $22 in shipping -- only to find the exact same product available at other websites for $116 and FREE SHIPPING. That's a $55 (almost 33%) difference. A true ripoff! Contacted H-S Customer Service, only to be given the spiel about their reputation for "great customer service". Clearly, an outdated model!

I want to second the last reviewer. Hammacher told me 3-6 weeks on a return refund and that is AFTER THEY RECEIVED IT. Then I was told a $10 restocking fee. That $10 grew to $34. When I called them to inquire why. I was told we deducted the shipping cost we incurred. I will NEVER EVER do business with them again! Find a reputable company to do business with. This company is not reputable or ethical. They are professional on the phone while they are messing you over. I wish I had four hands....So I can give this company 4 THUMBS DOWN!

I purchased many items from HS throughout the years. The return policy when purchasing all my items is get the same item if available or credit back to the charge I used at anytime. Policy changed I can get same items or a store credit now when returning my items after a year. Well I feel they should honor the return policy that was in place when items were purchased. Items purchased after the date policy changed when returned after a year should get a store credit. Not Fair, HS should honor the store return policy that was in place when items were purchased. Is there a law that they are supposed to honor the return policy that was in place when item was purchased? change policy is O-K but only for items purchased with this new policy in place. I always counted on this store. Returned 2 items and waiting for a store credit for along time now. Hope I get it though. I really do resent changing the policy on me.

Purchased sandals. Return them - May 22 - unworn. No refund. It is now July 15. Also no response to my voice mail messages. They NEVER answer the phone. What do I need to do next?

We purchased a phone sanitizer in Nov 2019. The product seemed to really kill the germs working by ultraviolet light rays. We then noticed a crack in the product near the aromatherapy area. We've called and emailed this company multiple times over a three month period. We returned the product over three weeks ago. We've tried to call only to be on hold for long periods and then they answer and disconnect the call. I wish I had done my homework research prior shopping with this company. While Hammacher Schlemmer does sell some of the most interesting items, if you make a purchase and are in need of a return, too much grief will be met to be worthy of purchasing items which may later fail. Do yourself a favor and shop a more reputable company. Hammacher Schlemmer may offer a lifetime warranty but they do not provide service after sale. Please do NOT purchase from this company! After all this I look them up. Nearly every customer interaction is extremely poor. They are rob and scam people and you will only be added to their list of suckers.

Extremely mad at this company! I bought a gift from this company for my husband birthday. They charged my credit For almost $800.00 then sent me a Email saying that they don’t have the product and for me to wait 5-10 business days to get my money back!!! How dare they do that!!!! Rip off all the way!!
