The recent support call with Jaqueline was excellent. Unfortunately our experience so far with the collars has not been good. Fence lines are very inconsistent and the dogs are getting warning and emergency static when the are not outside the fence. We tried to create a positive experience with both dogs. Tootsie is more resilient to the feedback but Petey is freaked out to go outside now. Unless something changes and the collars become accurate, I do not know if we will be able to fix this for Petey. Jaqueline recommended an indoor beacon so that fences are ignored when in range of this. We will give it a try and monitor our results in the coming days.

My experience with customer service has been positive. But my collar stopped working after two months and unfortunately it will be nearly a month before I will get a replacement.

DO NOT BUY!!!! The collar was not right for my dog's intense prey drive. I returned the collar on March 4, 2024. As of today, June 24, 2024, I still have NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND. I have been contacting customer support for months with ZERO RESULTS. No call backs from managers, just customer service reps who very nicely tell me they will escalate the issue and nothing ever happens. This item is way too expensive for this type of treatment. Maybe they are just hoping I'll go away and forget about the $700 they owe me???? UPDATE: After posting this review and filing a complaint with the BBB, I finally got a response and they refunded my money.

I had to change my review. Although Halo dog park staff are really responsive during the calls they can only resolve issues if there is a written script. My issue was with the collar. GPS was not working with my collar for some reason. It would be resolved by dog park staff, then immediately not work again. They had me send video to engineering after many many attempts by dog park. They are not responsive! After another week, emailed to say they couldn’t see my video & resubmit. I just wanted some answers?? I am done. My dog isn’t safe with Halo!!!

I purchased 2 collars and have had persistent problems with one of them. I submitted a warranty request for the defective collar 9 days ago and still haven’t received any shipping notification to indicate the new collar is being sent. I have already returned the defective collar. I requested customer service to look into the replacement collar. I still have no info about when or if it will be sent, even after the call. I also began having problems with my remaining collar malfunctioning. I spoke to customer service who had some helpful suggestions to resolve the problem with my remaining collar. Prior to this interaction, I was ready to return both collars and cancel service entirely. After the call, I am giving it another couple weeks before deciding whether to cancel or not.

Collar will randomly go off when inside the boundaries. Sometimes it gives no feedback or correction when boundaries are crossed

I have to I have been disappointed in the quality of the collars and the reliability. We have been using the collars now for over 2 year now and have to replace collars now 4. The only thing I can say is I have not had to pay for any replacement. So, they have earned a few point for that. The customer service is and have been vary good (The Dog Park). But for spending over 1500 in collars and beacons I would have expected better performance. Do not wast your money on beacons as they do not work. Extremely unreliable! The Tech support is not much help as we were promised help on setting up a static IP adress for the collars and they have yet to come through with that. I have even spent the money to put in an outside wifi to help with the network connection to improve reliability. I just wish I would see the return on investment as it has such promising idea.

I have purchases 3 collars. One collar consistently shocks my dog while he is well within range. This has happened on 3 different occasions. I worked with support this week to reset the collar. It just happened again. Also one of my other collars is doing this as of this week. My pups are scared now with this collar on and I worry about its inconsistency and what happens if I am not right beside them to yank the collar off when it gives unnecessary feedback. When the collar works it is great but when it does not, I end up with very scared pups. I will be contacting support again but at this point do NOT recommend purchasing this product.
