This system is mostly working well for us so far. The only issue we are having is with the gps cutting out when our dog is in heavy tree cover.

My halo collar has quit after 4 months and they won’t warranty it. I purchased it through Amazon because of ease of ordering. When I checked with them about a new one I was told Amazon wasn’t an approved retailer. So I spent $700 for 4 months of use. Not impressed at all with this company. After my original post I was contacted by Halo. They said that Amazon is an approved retailer. The lady on the phone was very helpful. I will be receiving a new collar. They maybe need some work educating customer service.

So far I am really liking the collar. There has been a couple mishaps with gps locations and my dogs but overall pretty happy with the collar. I like being able to let him out and not worry about him and see him on the map. I really enjoy not being limited to one fence as we are always on the go. I look forward to seeing future improvements as the collar evolves

Purchased the Halo collars and have been working to get them up and running. While I have struggled to get everything working effectively, it has been user error every step of the way. The Halo Dog Park has been incredibly helpful in offering solutions both in terms of getting the collars to be more accurate and getting my dogs trained. The suggested training system was not working, but Ricky W offered some great ideas for getting my dogs trained up. Super thankful for the Dog Park option which offers quick and helpful advice!

I have been using the Halo collar for about 5 months. Unfortunately in that time I have had to replace the collar twice due to technical malfunctions. When the collar works it is a great tool. My dog learned his boundaries quickly following the guide provided and I have used the fences when we travel and they work great. While I'm not 100% satisfied with the technology in the collar I received the benefits still outlay the hassle of having to replace the collar twice and I will continue to use the system. I also want to mention the dog park team is another incredible value included with the halo collar. The team has always been very responsive and knowledgeable about the product.

The collars have been extremely helpful for containing our dogs on our land. They respond well to the boundaries. Our dogs are extremely hard on these collars however and it seems we have to seek replacement collars because they will not continue to charge. Tiffany was very helpful in trying to figure out how to reset the collar and get it to charge. Unfortunately we could not get it working. Replacement collar has been requested.
