Horrible product. Doesn't work at all. Gps is so lagged, dog will be 100 yards past fence before any warning. We got notifications that he was far away, while he was on our porch! Don't recommend at all. Big waste of alot of money. Our $35. Remote collar from amazon works much better

Horrible product. It doesn't work. Basically the GPS sucks. The concept is good. But the GPS isn't accurate so it zaps the dog at random. I called support multiple times. They know the thing doesn't work. Not sure why they are still trying to sell it. Don't buy it, send it back if you just bought it.

Do not get this product. It is based off of GPS and the GPS is so awful it renders the product useless. We followed the training and my dog reacted correctly to the warnings, yet the GPS was so off (sometimes over 20ft off) and delayed, that the warnings go off when my dog is in her safe zones or heading in the correct direction, and then it goes off two more times, scaring and confusing her. It even delayed so much that it went off in her safe zone while she was peeing and the result was she held her pee for a full day. At this point she is scared to go outside. She went from a happy, confident dog to a dog scared to leave the house. This product is detrimental to a dog's health. We will be returning ours.

Placed an order Feb 22, promised to receive it in 3 days , after a week only a lable created by FedEx in Taiwan and no sign of movement , means the package was lost or whatever reason not ready for FedEx to pickup, called Halo customer service and they say i have to wait and won't do anything , would not cancel or refund , they are rude over the phone and argue , why your product has to be shipped from Taiwan to begin with ? why don't you try to resolve it instead of arguing with the customer ? what kind of customer service is anyway?

The halo collar in theory sounds like an awesome idea....but it doesn't work, not at all. I never even made it outside with the collar. The beacon feedback wouldn't even work properly. It would shock (even with this functionality turned off) and warn my dog when they were nowhere nearby, but they could be on top of the beacon and never receive feedback. Their customer service is also atrocious it takes around 3 days to hear back they give a generic response to reset the collar and then close the help ticket. Thankfully I purchased my collar from chewy and was able to return it.

Extremely inaccurate, shocks dog when they’re in the house, battery only lasts 2-3 months, then has to be replaced. I’ve had the collar 16 months and had to get it replaced 4 times

Works most of the time. Then it drifts off about every 4hrs. My dogs are outside for a long time guarding livestock. This has horrible gps drift and doesn't update until you physically cycle the power/sleep off and on a few times. If you forget or it drifts sooner than that, it starts shocking your dog over and over until you can find the dog and take it off to reset it. You can't track the dog during this time because the GPS drifts about half a mile in some random (mostly north) direction. We asked for a full refund and did not get a full refund well within our 60 window. A partial was paid after going back and forth with customer service. We really tried EVERYTHING with customer service to get this to work because it's such a great idea, but it's not working because they only use a few satellites vs the competition that is using up to 50.

Two thing to note. The product itself is not great. Right from the start, the beacons that came with our collars did not work as intended, making the initial training impossible. Sometimes the collars would beep far away, sometimes they would be right on top of it and it wouldn't beep. Secondly, the return process has been tremendously painful. I followed the directions to the mark. It's now been 1 month since the returned collars were accepted at their return location and no one can tell me why I haven't received a refund. Each time I call I'm told they will check and get back to me EITHER WAY. Not once did I get a call back. Buyer be warned - this is an inferior product, not worth the $$. Getting your money back may not happen.
