Very very happy with these collars. A little pricey but not compared to their competitor. I was a little concerned about the GPS response time after reading all the reviews on their early collars but looks like they have fixed that on the latest version. Quick seamless response and the dogs learned fast after a day or two of training. One feature that is not that useful for me is the on-the-fly feedback. Works great if your sitting on the deck watching them, but not very practical on walks/hikes because of cell response time, e.g. they will get into trouble way before you can get your phone to connect with them. I just use a $20 radio device for that. Lots of implements but worth it for peace of mind. I live on 3 acres in a rural mountain area with lots of critters out there that they can get into trouble with so these collars are a life-saver (litterly for them).

The control. Of Jenny is great she listens well too commands it really is very good

We have been using the Halo collars and app for 2 months with our 7 month old lab and our 6 year old min Schnauzer mix. The lab learned the fence boundaries VERY quickly—1 1/2 days! The min schnauzer took just 2 days. The training program was terrific…the dogs and I both learned the capabilities of the system and how to use it to great effect. The feedback tools (both for prevention and encouragement) are spot on and the adjustability has helped me tailor each collar to each dog’s needs and response level. We had priced an Invisible Fence…to enclose 1 acre was going to cost $4000, and it obviously would have been limited to our specific home base. The 2 Halo collars cost a total of $1350, and because I bought 2 of them I received a $100 discount. And it is a portable system—our dogs will vacation and camp with us, and I will be able to set up a virtual fence, in minutes, where ever we go. Plus, If one of them ever gets lost on our travels, we will be able to find them using the mapping. The only other thing I have to say: this is the best money I have ever spent!

The Halo staff were concerned and patient. They were not able to determine the cause of the problem. I eventually realized that the beacon was interfering with the collar calibration. Once I removed the beacon , the collar calibration hasn’t failed.

Absolutely love our Halo collars. We use them everyday day. The couple times we had to reach out we got immediate responses.

I like to hike with my dog off leash when possible. With the Halo collar I always know where he is. I use the Cesar’s whistle feature if I need him to come. He responds immediately. I love that.

This collar was a life changer for our dog! We live on 5 acres and already had a Weimaraner but felt he needed a friend. Rebel was a rescue dog from the local pound and full of energy and a mind of her own! No matter what we did she refused to stay in the yard and would take off for hours with our Weim in tow. We didn't want to return her so decided to try the Halo on the advice of neighbors who had one. From the minute we put it on her (no nodes attached) she stayed in the yard. We can take the Weim across the property and she stops at her boundaries. I swear she is a totally different dog. Thank you Halo!

Update on the collar. After several setting adjustments they finally replaced the collar and now there has been no issues. They seem to be a company that continues to improve on their products. This may be the case on a few other reviews that had the same problems. So far the collar works great! It is a great manual training tool and it’s peace of mind knowing where she is all the time First off the company does get back with you. The problem with their collars is they can go off on your pet while they are in their fenced area. When it works it’s just great but trying to train your pet boundaries and then it goes off while she is in bounds can really confuse her. Also, it will loose GPS and and try to connect but by the time it does who knows how far she’s gotten to.
