Halo CollarReviews of halocollar.com

I love that I have been able to protect our dog Lilly at multiple locations (old house, new house and family member’s houses) without having to install underground wiring at all these locations. The GPS is not as accurate as I would like it to be, which has caused Lilly to get warnings when she is not very close to the boundary. But I prefer this than her to be at risk in the road.

This is probably the single most valuable thing we’ve ever purchased for our dog. Im not going to lie, after following the training steps set up in the app for about a week, it was just way more than I had time for on a daily basis for 3 weeks, so I took my dog outside and trained her to the collar the good old fashioned way we and it worked amazingly. We’ve had a couple kinks with the gps thinking our dog was about a mile away from our house when she was right next to us in our back yard, but the customer support team is amazing and easily walked us through how to fix it. My only complaint is that the battery doesn’t last all day if our dog is outside a lot (which is almost every day) so we often have to give it a midday charge. That’s a small price to pay for the amazingness of this collar though. Will definitely be buying a second one for our puppy when he’s ready for it!

It solved the problem of how I was going to control my dog while living in a remote off grid situation on a large piece of property.

I love the halo collar. I purchased 2 of them for my big dogs and they have been working really well for us. If battery life was better I’d give 5 stars. I get about 12 hours before I have to charge them.

I love everything about this collar except one thing- the battery life is only about 8-10 hours.

We really like the convenience of this collar! We are currently using two for both of our dogs. The longer battery life of the Halo 2+ is much appreciated. One time the newer collar did provide feedback while our dog was inside, but once we followed the directions provided inline we haven’t had any issues. I think it was just still collaborating/figuring out the boundary etc. would still recommend this system. Very easy to use and the app is great to see where our pups are at on the property. Glad a family member recommended this.

The Halo Collar has given our dogs the freedom to explore our unique shaped property. We have 1.5 acres, so the GPS shift doesn't affect the dogs too much. I wish the GPS / feedback / notifications were more "real time" instead of a slight delay, but I think that will come with technology improvements. Overall, the collars have been great and I would buy again.

Like the collar, have two dogs. One doing great. He was used to electric fence. Other one, her collar is not a responsive. Sometimes she can get across border before collar sends any type of signal. The beacons are not easy to use. Sometimes it works other she’ll get right on top of it and get food before it makes a sound.
