We recently purchased a collar for our male, German Shorthaired Pointer, who used to regularly escape from our 3-acre property by jumping over the fences. The setup process was straightforward, and we found the step-by-step video guides and tutorials to be invaluable. While setting up the perimeter fence was mostly easy, we did encounter some difficulty when trying to establish the feedback settings, which may have been due to our own error. After using the collar for several weeks, we are pleased to report that our dog, Mr. Freckles, has not left our yard even once. We receive notifications when he has been warned, and the warning level helps us keep track of his movements. Overall, we are very satisfied with the product and have recommended Halo to several people. However, we do have some concerns about the charging feature. There have been instances when the collar did not charge, even after connecting the charger. Although we appreciate the magnetic connection helps to reduce the possibility of water entry, we are not sure if this is the cause of the problem.

The concept is great along with the flexibility. However, in smaller 1/2 acre areas, the GPS signal being off 10-15 ft can sometimes give’s inadvertent alerts. Still love the solution as a whole!

I really like my experience with halo. That's help me very well with my dog. The signal on the collar could be a little bit stronger. Maybe it's increasing and I don't know.

Really well made product. I can keep an eye on my dog on our 6 acres even while I am inside working from my home office. The only issue we have is that the GPS loses signal in a couple of places on the property, so he gets "lost" whenever he goes over there. Other than that, it truly has been a great experience.

The Hallo collar has improved over time since I initially purchased the unit. Multiple software upgrades have finally made it pretty reliable so no complaints there. I gave it 4 stars because there is always room for improvement and the monthly service fee isn’t necessarily cheap.

We love the collar and the freedom it provides for us and our dog. The training videos were very good and with some patience our dog learned quickly and can now roam 15 acres of woods without us fearing she’s in a road or a neighbor’s property. I took one star off the review because the battery life is pretty short (we get about 10-11 hours max), and because the beacon that comes with the collar to keep the dog away from things in the house really never worked so we gave up on that part.

We love the portability of the Halo collar. It comes with us. Customer service has been quick to help with the installation and our learning process In how to use the technology. They have provided various ways to answer our questions. The differences and specific capabilities of the technology (GPS, Bluetooth, wi-GI) have not always been easy for us to learn.

While the Halo collar did not work out for my dog, customer service and returning the product was very simple and quick. I really liked the idea of a wireless collar but the GPS was often not working consistently as designed. My dog received corrections at the wrong times. The app does have very helpful text support to answer questions. I’m giving the product 4 stars because of the GPS.
