So far doing great. Had to hire someone to install through the wall. The installer was the one who described it as Cadillac of dog doors. It took two days for both malamute and lab puppies to figure it out. The magnets seals the flaps good. I probably have to buy the flaps as a replacement stock in future.

We purchased the small/medium wall mount model for out 3 cats. Well constructed unit. Two flap construction will be great in cold winter. We replaced a wooden door with a single flap cat door and didnt want to cut into new fiberglass door to lose the insulating factor. Two young cats have mastered the door and third is an old guy who is still thinking about it. Donation to Humane Society was incentive to purchase as well. Well worth the price.

We have had a Hale pet door in each of our last 3 homes. Have never had a complaint and the quality is outstanding! Their guarantee is unbeatable and they offer repeat customer discounts, as well as adoption of a pet benefits! It is nice to be appreciated as a customer. I can't say enough about these doors. We get the wall door and it holds up well in the heat and cold. Strongly recommend this product.

I bought the replacement flap kit for both the inside and outside. The flaps were easy to replace but the weatherstrip was very difficult. I did the outside first and ended up breaking the corner keys on the frame trying to remove the old weatherstrip. Installing the new weatherstrip required significant force with a rubber mallet. For fear of ruining the inside as well I didn't replace the weatherstrip, just the door. For the money they charge for the replacement kit ($90.00 with shipping) it could have come with frames as well (or at least make it an option) making the process much easier. Very dissatisfied!!!

We just ordered replacement parts for the Hale Pet Door and it looks and works great. The quality of the door flaps are amazing and the magnets help with a tight closure all the way around the inner and outer flaps. I won't look any further for Pet Doors...Hale Pet Doors are the way to go and will be the only choice I go with in the future. :)
