Hale Pet DoorReviews of halepetdoor.com

We have an in the wall doggie door and love it. When we bought it, Hale Pet Door made a donation to a rescue service - great idea. Thank you for your good service and community involvement. We will continue to recommend you to everyone!

We have had a Hale Pet door for around 9 years now and the dogs love it, as do we. It's a sturdy, well built door. We just ordered replacement flaps (dual flaps) that were a bit pricey but well worth it. Overall, we have been very pleased with our original purchase.

I am satisfied with this pet door. It looks much sturdier than my former, well made. I have one smaller dog and one cat. I took off one flap before installation as I thought my cat would not take to a new door plus an additional flap, hoping I could add some time later. I was right in doing so. She will now use the door but doesn't like how hard it is for her to push it. So it periodically doesn't swing completely closed tight and gets caught up on the black inner piece of stripping leaving a corner open. Also, where this stripping is placed around the frame(in between the magnets) it leaves small gaps exposed that allow the elements to come through . If both flaps were on, this would not be a problem as hey are in different places. But it looks nice, pets are using it, and seems like good quality.

Great pet door, great customer service!

Very well made, heavy duty and almost draft free. I have had two other dog doors from Home Depot (drafty and light wait and not very secure). My dogs quickly learned to use the dubble flap doors too.

I didn't realize when ordering the replacement flaps it would come with the weather striping so I ordered that as well. I received a call from the company alerting me of this and they immediately changed the order and credited my account. Nice to work with an honest company!

The customer service representative was very helpful over the phone. She took the time necessary to help me choose the right door based on measurements, the breed of my dog, etc. She answered all of my questions immediately and researched any and all information she needed to when she wasn't certain of the answer immediately. I have recommended Hale Pet Door already to several people at the dog park where I walk my dog.

It took some time to put in our wall mount doggie door. Cutting through the stucco took the longest time and thanks for recommending a diamond blade. That is what worked. It looks great and the finish color matches our wall color. It took a little bit for our beagle to get used to going through two flaps instead of one. This is sturdy and will last for years.
