Great service and nice products

Had to get replacement doors for existing unit we had installed for previous dog as we took in a rescue dog. Shipping was fast and instillation was somewhat easy (not totally simple, but given the design and that this was a retrofit I am not sure how this could have been easier.). Part of the order did not ship in error, but that was rectified quickly and with little hassle.

Just purchased my second Hale dog door. Had to leave the first one at our old house. It was a fantastic double-flap in-wall install for our Australian Terrier. We had it for 6 or 7 years and never an issue. Insulated well during cold months--never a draft. So when we moved to our new house I had to get another--this time an in-door double-flap. Got a local contractor to come out and install and we're in business! It has that familiar magnetic click so she took right to it--even though now she's nearly blind. AND--when I stated on the order that it was my 2nd Hale door, Hale contacted me a day later and gave me a 10% rebate for being an existing customer! Nice. I will always buy Hale.

I was taught at a young age to always buy quality so the Hale pet door was definitely the right choice for my family. Time came to replace the flaps and although I was disappointed due to a "fitting problem" the company jumped at taking care of the issue with no hesitation. I am very impressed with this company

Hale has made this process simple. I reviewed the flap replacement information on the Hale web site. I also reviewed both DIY videos on the site. These are excellent step-by-step how-to videos. I then measured and ordered the correct size replacement kit which was delivered within several days. The actual steps to replace all of the weather stripping, magnets and flap doors is laborious and time consuming. However, if you follow the videos, you can't go wrong. Removal of the old parts (there are a lot of them on the double flap pet doors and each one must be handled individually) which is what makes this process laborious. Once you gather up your tools and have everything ready to go, everything about this DIY project was a positive experience - all parts were removed with no problems, all replacement parts were included in the kit from Hale and fit perfectly and following the explicit steps on the video made this a pleasure to work with.

This installation was a bit more complicated that a standard door because I had to deal with a gas line and electrical. But with extra time cutting and framing the door fit perfect. My two big rescue shepherd mixes love it because now they don't have to wait to go outside. Solid construction, love the dual weather flappers. Instructions were very clear to me. I recommend.
