Love, love, love this door. I've had it for 15 years and have just replaced the flap. The door sees quite a bit of traffic so I was so pleased that it has held up well over the years. I had to order a custom size to fit a pane on a french door. Customer Service is excellent and it was very easy to order. When the replacement flap arrived, though, it was longer than it should have been which was a disappointment since I was measuring the actual flap to be replaced. Additionally, the installation is SO MUCH harder than it needs to be. In the end, I had to hire a handyman to install it and it took him over an hour! The product is excellent, the installation process needs attention. Had it been easier to install I would have given 5 stars.

If you are thinking of buying a pet door look no further.

I've been using my pet door for years, love it, dogs love it. I now have a dog that chews the flaps, its been frustrating and the Hale folks always helpful with tips.

Purchased our second HALE pet door. The only reason is that the people we were renting from wanted to keep the door. The replacement parts package we ordered left them with a like new pet door. The new door we ordered is fantastic and of great quality. A true investment for anyone considering a pet door. They last and replacement parts are reasonably priced to keep the unit functional for years...

Positives: Arrived promptly. Well packaged. All necessary parts included.Very good quality. Negatives: The provided instructions were for general installation, rather than specific to flap replacement. But, I found a good YouTube video. Expensive. Overall: I'm happy. Spendy, but exactly what I needed

Helpful assistance by phone. Timely delivery of replacement flaps. Pleased that our information is on account to expedite the process. Appreciate no charge for shipping especially since we didnt expect to need replacement flaps again. We used the warranty for the first set so had to pay full price this time. We have heavy duty double flaps and replaced them just over a year ago.
