Hale Pet DoorReviews of halepetdoor.com

These people were fantastic to work with, careful, speedy and everything was perfect!!

I ordered my pet door on line and it was very quickly delivered. Since this was my second pet door through Hale and even though it was 10 years ago, they gave me a 10%....very nice!

kit for my door was not the same as it came with but I used it any why

We've had a Hale Pet Door for 18 years and are just now replacing the double flaps. The door has held up over all this time with daily use. The replacement flaps were shipped quickly and came with clear instructions for installation. It looks as good as new now.

I recently called Hale because the strike at the bottom edge came off. I still had the strike, but couldn't find the rivet. Even though it has been more than 7 years since I purchased the door, they sent me a package of 2 new strikes with rivets by priority mail at absolutely no cost. I couldn't be happier with my Hale door. I previously had another brand with only one flap and the amount of cold air it let in during winter months was incredible. My double flap door keeps the basement nice and toasty.

Overall, I am very satisfied with Hale Pet Door. The product arrived promptly, was well packaged and easy to install. I had no difficulty navigating their website and found exactly the size of dog door I was looking for. Prices were higher than I wanted to pay, but certainly well within reason for made in the USA, and excellent quality. As for the product itself: Well constructed, and the installation directions are clear. About the only thing I can complain about is the security door not sealing up as flush to the opening as I'd like. (Maybe if it had some sort of fabric on the outside that would help seal it up?) However, this isn't a huge deal, because the flaps and magnetic holders do a decent job of keeping the wind and cold out. All told, I would still buy another one of these products if I needed a second one.

Product holds up well and when I needed a new magnet it was shipped right away. Have had 2 Hale dog doors and both look the same after years of use. Kept the 15 degree cold air outside last winter and strong winds did not blow the door open

Easy to install and holds up very well. I just bought a second one to install in an area that I am enclosing in. I purchased the original one several years ago and it is still in excellent condition so that is why I decided to purchase this same one even though I found some less expensive models I prefer the quality and durability of this one.
