Hale Pet DoorReviews of halepetdoor.com

Purchased a custom built dog ramp to my specs. Had to fill out 3 page order form. Ordering was easy, dealt with Sue. Was told order could take up to 10 days to build, then shipping time. Received order in 6 days. Upon examination of ramp, I noticed 1 measurement was short from my specs, but still usable. I installed next day because of 1 dog with back injury. Ramp very well built and strong. I called the next day and talked with Jan. She called the manufacturing company to find out why the measurement was off. Just a mistake. Offered to send me a complete replacement built correctly to my specs. Explained that existing ramp was usable and not to waste time and material building replacement. But since I didn't get the product I ordered, she offered a partial refund which I gracefully accepted. The reason for 5 stars? Great product, excellent customer service, fast delivery. I could live with the mistake, and they made it right. Would order from again.

looks good and seems durable. I think you should have a video of the step by step direction that can be viewed. would make easier.

I have had the same Hale pet door for decades! It has outlived several dogs of all sizes, and endured constant use for the last 25+ years! I actually removed the door from one house and reinstalled it in another wen I moved; it spent a dozen years at the first house, and now, so far, another 13 at my current house! I replaced the flaps one, and did not do a great job, so after several years, I recently decided to replace the whole door. Then I had a great conversation with the Hale service rep, who guided me to buy only the inside frame, which has been a perfect and much more economical fix....my new inside frame is in, and the whole door is once again perfect..looks like new! LOVE IT! I will never be without a doggy door...and my choice will always be Hale. Unfortunately for Hale, the product is so good...this may be my lifetime door! Luckily, I have made it up to your company by referring many happy new customers and will continue to do so. GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT COMPANY! ALL of my dogs and I thank you...as do my friends who also are very happy with your doors!

I purchased a custom pet ramp to be attached outside for our blind dog to be able to use the doggy door which has an 11 inch drop to the ground. The installation instructions and parts are very unclear. The ramp is still sitting in the corner of a room and the dog is still unable to get in and out of the house. Update - I never was able to install the pet door, so I wasted over $100. The dog learned to jump out the doggy door even though she was totally blind. The dog has since died. The ramp was a good idea, but turned out to be impractical.

Excellent customer service; answered my questions and provided an informative see of directions for securing magnets. Fast delivery of spare parts. Great communication. I love how a portion of the cost goes to a local shelter of my choice!

our dogs have used this door for 2 years now, they love it, I love it. Twin soft plastic doors make entry/exit easy. Wind & snow do not enter the house

I purchased 2 small dog ramps. They were perfect for my dog. I love that there are so many size and configuration options to choose from. I was able to customize the ramps to meet my needs. I contacted customer service regarding delivery and they were very friendly and responsive. I would definitely use this company again.

I'very had a Hale door for 5 years and it still performs like new. It is installed on a southern exposure so it gets strong desert sun most of the time. I just replaced the flaps for the first time and it was very easy to do. I highly recommend this product and company.
