First, I bought the extra large because I have very long hair. I found that water was getting inside the cap, So I thought maybe my head was too small for this cap. I ordered one size smaller, and the water still gets inside the cap. I kept my ears out, and I followed the directions on both caps and water still entered & soaked my hair. It does not work save your money!

Same issues as the other customers - swim cap doesn't work in the slightest, don't see how it could possibly work with the design they've got unless you never put your head under water. Not believing any of their reviews are real. They claim they have accepted my review but it doesn't appear on their website so they are clearly not posting any review below 5 stars which is why their scores are so high. They keep claiming that they've sent me a return label for shipping but they haven't - so I can't return the product. I suspect once I do also won't be able to get my money back as that seems to be a common occurrence as well. They're clearly a scam. Edit to add - just heard from them. They "can't generate a return label for international addresses". So they will let you purchase internationally but not return. Their return policy does not indicate anywhere (as of Aug. 26, 2024) that it does not apply to international orders (and they only told me this after I went to them three times telling them I didn't have a shipping label and the first two times they told me it had been sent). They are claiming that if I return the item to them (and pay for shipping myself) that they will process the return. Anyone want to place bets?!

I purchased this swim cap hoping to protect my hair from water infiltration but it has been a major letdown. Despite being marketed as a protective cap, it offers minimal coverage and leaves my hair wet and exposed after every swim. I followed the fitting instructions precisely, yet it feels like the cap is either too thin or poorly designed for proper protection. My hair ends up just as chlorine-soaked as if I hadn't worn the cap at all. Overall, this swim cap is not effective in protecting hair from water and isn’t worth the purchase. Marketing for this cap is very misleading because it is advertised that you can swim freely with this cap without your hair getting wet. This is not the case all. Clearly, false advertising. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable option to keep their hair dry. Save your money and look for a better-quality cap. Additionally, when trying to call Hairbrella to report this, I had a frustrating experience with this company's customer service. Firstly, I noticed that their website does not list a phone number for customer support, which is already a red flag. In today’s world, having direct access to customer service via phone is crucial for resolving issues efficiently. In an attempt to get assistance, I sent multiple emails over the past week. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a single response. It’s incredibly disappointing and unprofessional to encounter such poor customer support, especially when there’s no way to escalate the issue via phone. I used the chat option which took a while for it to address my concern and I was sent a return label. I returned the product on July 12 and never was issued a credit nor have I received any communication of the return. I am currently out $50. Without the option to speak directly with a representative, and with emails being ignored, I feel completely left in the dark. This lack of accessible and responsive customer service seriously undermines my confidence in this company. I hope they address these issues soon, but for now, I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.

Their swim cap doesn’t work and they purposely don’t publish negative reviews on their website. I purchased a swim cap and tried it during my swim class and even though I followed the instructions my hair was soaked after the swim class. Absolutely not worth the money and useless product.

Too large returned no refund no communication very sad

I ordered a Sunhat which was too large. I returned the item and have not received refund. Customer service is terrible. One of Opra’s favorite things? She should check before she recommends something

If I could give this company 0 stars I would! I asked for a refund not once but twice! I got a response after the second request asking why and would I like an exchange. I responded I wanted a refund. They have yet to get back to me. I have never experienced such a thing when making a purchase. Never again! I will warn others to stay far away from this poor product and company.

The swim cap took on more water than the Titanic. I turned it inside out and laid it on the side of my tub to dry. The black lining badly stained the tub. I tried to call the number listed, someone with a heavy accent answered, claimed they could not hear me, hung up and never answered follow up calls. I really wanted to support this company and had hopes for the product based on the ads. Until they improve customer service, listen to feedback and fix problems with the product, I cannot recommend this swim cap.
