Delivery was fast. One rain hat had threads coming out. One had a few black stains from material on the plastic visor. I didn’t want to send them back because of all the restocking fees and effort needed to do so. I do like the infinity scarves however. I would say don’t expect to be dry if standing still in persistent heavy rain. Overall, I’m not mad at my purchase. I think the scarves are cute. Most were gifts, and the recipients liked them too! I wouldnt purchase the shower cap or recommend it. It’s a glamorized bonnet. I don’t find that it is a true shower cap unless you can actively stand under the water and not get wet. Otherwise, what’s the point? I want to try the lite scarf next and I would cop an additional heavy scarf. They are cute ngl. Don’t go to crazy. Be mindful of your budget. - Truth

The swimming cap is good quality. amazing for a shower if you have a silk press it’s the best option. However it’s a big no for swimming maybe ok for aquaform but that’s it. I was disappointed since I bought it for my swimming classes in winter.

It shipped fast and easy. I got a pretty nice discount on it too. I got a xl sport model. After I commented on a facebook post, I was lead to beilve it would keep my ears dry. It did not. Now that my new preicings have been exposed to bacteria filled pool water, I'm pretty disappointed in this company. It's just hype ig. No way a women with braids could fit all that hair in one either. Water soaks up the satin lining. Clips are tight but it slides down you're forehead.

I ordered first cap and clasp broke off immediately. I was sent a new one that I just used for the first time today. And again the clasp piece on one side broke off immediately I will still try to use but I won’t buy another product from you or recommend.

I bought the swim cap that’s supposed to keep your hair dry. I tightened the band as per the instructions. It doesn’t keep my hair dry. I tried again with it so tight it was uncomfortable, still let water in. However it is easier to get on and off than my old cap so I’ll still use it.

UPDATE: I disputed the charge on my credit credit and it was ruled in my favor. Hairbrella eventually reached out in July and made an effort to address my concerns by apologizing for the difficulty I encountered with throughout the process process. ---- I purchased two items at the beginning of January and exchanged one of the items. That items didn't work for me either, so I returned it. I never received a refund despite the return being confirmed as delivered on Feb 3 (it is now Feb 27). I did not receive a response after inquiring about the refund. It has taken 23 emails dating from Jan 6 to February 23 in order to get the items returned and exchanged. The customer service experience was maddening because they would not read the previous email and you'd have to start over every single time. I will NEVER buy directly from this company again. I disputed the charge on my credit card and it was resolved in my favor.

Update: Just got closure with Hairbrella, acknowledging the challenges they were facing at the time I initiated my return and the problem that created for me. I appreciate the fact that they are reaching out to affected customers now and doing what they can to make things right. Original review Had to leave the matter with my credit card company since I had not been able to reach a resolution about returning a swim cap that had a broken clasp when I received it. Long wait times between communications, and then ghosting.

Update Fri 16 May: Moving from 2 to 3 stars after being in contact with their customer support team, I was able to receive a refund for my items; which helped to offset the huge cost to reroute the items internationally. I’ve ordered from HairBrella three times now, and while my first two experiences in 2022-2023 were smooth, my most recent order has been a major disappointment. Let me start by saying that the product itself—the Hairbrella rain hat—is fantastic, and I genuinely love both the product and the concept behind the brand. That’s why I became a returning customer. However, this third experience has been frustrating enough to make me rethink ordering from them again. I placed my order for three items on December 13th, expecting a similar timeline to my previous orders. Unfortunately, this time things didn’t go as planned. The shipping process took over a month, which meant I didn’t receive the items before my planned international trip where I really needed them. Despite reaching out to customer support multiple times, I wasn’t informed in a timely manner about the supplier delays, and there was no proactive effort to help redirect the package or offer a solution before my trip. Clearer communication and better support could have prevented a lot of frustration. To their credit, customer support did offer some options, such as changing the color of the items I ordered or providing a voucher. However, these options didn’t address the main issue—getting the items to me in time or covering the international shipping costs that I’m now expected to pay. Unfortunately, I’m still left footing the bill for something that wasn’t my fault, which leaves me feeling disappointed. What’s a bit comforting—yet disappointing—is that it seems I’m not alone in this. After looking at other reviews here, I’ve noticed others have been experiencing similar delays and communication issues. While it helps to know this wasn’t an isolated incident, it’s disheartening to see that the company hasn’t addressed these recurring problems. I want to emphasize that this review isn’t meant to tear down the company. I really believe in the brand and love their products, which is why I hope they take this feedback seriously. With better communication, proactive support, and fairer solutions in cases like mine, they could truly deliver the experience their customers expect. For now, though, I can’t confidently recommend them based on this experience.
