We are a repair facility and have been waiting since February 2, 2024 to be paid. Today is 6/17/2024 Every month, we are told the check is in the mail when we followed up in March, then again in April due to another error, then again in May, due to another error, and each time we are told to wait 30 days for it to arrive USPS. Too many errors with this company.

Like a few others on this forum, I was talked into purchasing this crappy-ass warranty from a dealer who said it was one of the best in the business in July 2023. $3800 for the best coverage. What a crock! We bought a 2014 Grand Cherokee Summit with 100k on it. First issue with the car was starter and radiator leak. Both had to be replaced and according to the sales pitch all this was covered. Uh.....no. Starter NOT covered. Radiator replacement total was $1159 and they paid $740 which was the LABOR cost of the replacement but not the parts. What? And the second issue we had was earlier this month (April 2024) with a slow leak in the oil pan. Took to an approved shop and that bill was $1936. Take a guess at how much that covered on that repair? How does NOTHING sound to you? As someone pointed out, they spend countless hours trying to NOT pay a damn thing. And for us to cancel we have to go to the dealership that sold us the worthless warranty. I am sure, like the other posters here, they will try to screw us on the pro-rated refund. Bottom line..........you hear GWC Warranty say NO THANK YOU!

GWC IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. THEY DO NOT MAKE YOUR POLICY A “NO WORRIES” EXPERIENCE. This auto warranty company is a menace to well-meaning used car buyers. The used car companies who push this “no worries” extended warranty are as complicit in this consumer fraud as much as the GWC warranty company. READ THE SMALL PRINT IN THE PAPERWORK THE SALESMAN PUSHES IN FRONT OF YOU AFTER SHOWING YOU THE PRETTY BROCHURE. The warranty contract is full of loopholes and “easy way out” clauses for GWC to deny your claim. Don't believe the promotional brochure that is pushed in front of you while buying your car. Our car had a catastrophic engine failure. Three mechanics concurred from two different auto repair shops. The company wants me to pay upwards of $1500 to have the engine torn apart in order to pinpoint the cause of the engine failure. If it is covered, they will only pay two thirds of the labor to have it fixed. Our maintenance records are immaculate and we have driven our car responsibly. GWC customer service is without a doubt trained to discourage claims and to belittle policy holders. DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY. Save up money and buy a dependable late model automobile with low miles and don’t spend thousands on a warranty that is designed to not have to pay out. We are now working to initiate a class action lawsuit against them. Stay tuned… #GWCclassaction Respectfully submitted.

I am a repair facility, one of my customers bought a used van with considerably low mileage. Within a week or two the radiator started leaking. I called to try to facilitate the repair, and gave them all of the info and offered an estimate. They said they would call me back after reviewing it, they didn't. I repaired the van and have spent more than 2 hours on the phone trying to get payment. This is a joke of a company, look for other extended warranty companies, there are good ones out there.

My cars transmission died 12/18/2022. Its now been 30+ plus days and i still dont have my car back. GWC sent a used transmission with over 80,000 miles on it to be put back in the car. The 'recommended'mechanic has 3 total employees. No work has been done to get the transmission put in. I have been calling the mechanic weekly because there is no communication from them. This is freaking ridiculous! I will never recommend getting a GWC Warranty or Precision Auto Tune for service!

I have had GWC extended warranty coverage for 5 years. It paid for itself since I had on minor repair twice (front headlight over $1500 each replacement). I also had one major repair where the cost was about $5000 and GMC paid about $2600. The warranty cost me $4500 so the repairs I had was covered under the cost.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WARRANTY!!!! This company is a SCAM. I wish I would have been warned before my wife and I purchased GWC warranties with two cars we purchased 8/04/22. After 90 days of owning the cars one of them had an engine problem which in the brochure states that they cover. Well after having the car towed to one of their approved shops the shop found that the engine needs replaced. GWC now says that they won't cover the repair due to pre-existing condition. A pre-existing condition is something you know before you purchase something. This car ran and drove for 90 days so there is no pre-existing condition. This is a scam. These people sell these warranties to hundreds of people a day knowing that in the big picture only a small percentage of these vehicles will have a big issue. So, if they don't pay the claim and screw the costumer it's only a small amount of loss to them because they could care a less about the consumer. They only care about money in their pockets. It's unfortunate that I had to give a star to write this because they deserve no stars but I wanted to warn others.

Would give 0 stars if I could. BEWARE do not purchase from this company. Car broke down on Sept 2, 2022 was towed to the mechanic, GWC was contacted by mechanic. (Who has over 27 years) working on that particular brand of vehicle. GWC gave him authorization to start to look for the problem. Found a hole in one of the pistons, called GWC and they asked hom for replacement parts. They were told that no pistons could be ordered as it would need a new engine.Then GWC stated to me that my mechanic would need to tell them why the part failed.....like he is a CSI forensic engineer mechanic.I contacted GWC several times amd they keep telling me that the mechanic would need to tell them the reason it failed. He could not. Then GWC told my mechanic that he should not have torn it apart without auth. Well you can see where this is headed. I told GWC to figure out a compromise or send their own adjuster to figure out what happened. They declined and also declined to cover the part that is covered because they think something happened with the fuel injectors. Well...they're covered too under my $4000.00 policy. You can't get a straight answer from them they just don't want to pay out. Well we have a contract and i'm willing to fight. I realize that they have tons of lawyers on staff, but I won't back down from whats right. I lived up to my part now they have to. If anyone wants to join my fight leave me a message here and together maybe we can get justice. I already contacted the BBB haven't heard back yet. It October 25th and I still have yet to hear from GWC on the official status. My mechanic is pretty much disgusted with them too. GWC better figure all of this out before they run outta customers and mechanics that will accept their warranties.
