I originally purchased a GWC warranty when I bought my 2014 Mercedes C350 4MATIC in January 2017. I purchased the Just Get in and Drive level. I mistakenly assumed that everything was covered. In fact, very little has gone wrong with the car so GWC’s opportunity to prove itself has been limited. Over the years, GWC covered very little of the repairs that had to be done. And, their premium keeps going up. When it was time to renew the warranty I found a plan that offered significantly more coverage at less than half the cost.

They wont cover the entire costs, if my dealership charges for instance, 175 per hour, gwc will only pay 125 per hour, if my msrp dealership parts price is 1250, gwc will only pay 750

The one item that failed on my truck (in the line of items within the fuel system) was / IS NOT covered. $1200 job from my pocket for an item that is known as a failure item. SUCKED. Regret getting extended warranty program.

We had two issues with the vehicle when we brought it in for repairs. The air conditioner wasn't working and the passenger seat sensor wasn't working. The a/c you covered, thank you. The seat sensor, an actual safety concern, was not.

Poor knowledge of towing policies. Both times I’ve had to have my car towed, reps have been unfamiliar with contracts. I bought the higher end contract that covers towing any distance to the closest authorized repair facility. One time after four or five phone calls I was able to get the company to cover it. The next time they told me I would have to call in for a refund and pay. I paid out-of-pocket. It was not worth the hassle.

When my vehicle broke down, I called GWC. I was told that I would be covered for a rental car at $50 a day for 5 days OR up to $250. I spent over $300 for 4 days and you all are only reimbursing me for $200. This isn’t right because it’s not wat I was told prior to getting the rental car.
