Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. I have only had one appointment with my therapist so far, but I am very pleased with how comfortable I felt with her. I am really looking forward to working with her.

I have been on Grow Therapy now for about a year and I have had a few therapists. I have been happy with every therapist thus far, but I have learned over time what I personally prefer, require, and enjoy. My only recommendation for Grow is to encourage each therapist to open up more about their past credentials and experiences on their Bio. I have found that the background greatly impacts their approach.

Grow was like many other health care providers in that the sticker price is not the actual price. Sadly, I would have been better off if I were uninsured. Because I had insurance, I had to pay both my insurance payment and my copay. While it was made clear that I would pay $100/session out of pocket without insurance, I was told I needed to pay almost $200/session for my copay. I was very disappointed.

Hi C J, Clear expectations around billing are important when accessing care. We'd like to better understand what occurred and have requested more information via Trustpilot. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to your reply.

The near immediate availability for mental health issues is the best and biggest difference from my experience working directly with individual practices. Being able to read biographies and client reviews to pick a psychiatrist that I think will be a good fit for me was a big help.

The provider I met with, Victoria Omeri, was unprofessional, impatient, and unhelpful. Would not recommend.
