Not the Therapists, but the Company
Honestly, my experience with the therapists and psychiatrists was very good. Unfortunately my first psychiatrist had missed two appointments in a row, the first time she sent out an email stating she had a medical emergency and canceled all appointments for the day and even rescheduled it for me. The second appointment, no show for 15 minutes, the site says the providers get a 10 minute grace-period. But I had no emails or messages from my provider either, I thought this was strange since she had emailed previously when there was an issue. I called the company's support, and asked if they could get in contact with my psychiatrist, since at the time I had been unmedicated for at least a week due to issues with my medications that I was working on with my psychiatrist. Grow therapy then told me that they have no way of contacting the providers, no phone numbers, not even business emails. I was baffled, it is extremely important for clients to be able to reach their providers, and this company offers only message through the dashboard as my only way of contact. So, I messaged her and waited days. Eventually she got back to me and told me that she no longer worked there or was able to have clients in PA, and NONE of her clients were informed of this. At this point I had found a new psychiatrist and a therapist but it doesn't end here, my therapist didnt show up for one of my appointments, due to lack of medication I was really in need of therapy. My therapist reached out and told me that the appointment just wouldn't open on her end and that I would have to be rescheduled to next week. Honestly, for take-aways for the company, you should at least have an email in which you can reach the providers in case of certain situations, I was unmedicated for over 2 weeks because of the first incident which can be very problematic for me. As well as telling clients when their therapist/psychiatrist is no longer available so they can find another one as soon as possible. Another take-away is to make sure all the "bugs" are fixed on the website, I have seen many reviews in here talking about "bug" incidents. Extremely frustrating to see how poorly this has been put together. Nothing against the therapists or psychiatrists.
