Self work & Self Evaluation is a Constant Responsibility.
We must be vigilant in our responsibility to Self Evaluate & Do our self work on our Mental Health to Evolve into our PERSONAL BEST.

Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. The platform is easy to use, each area is laid out intuitively so navigating the platform is headache-free, and it makes communication with my provider simple, painless, and friction-free.

I am so happy to have found the therapist I found through Grow Therapy! I also appreciate the reminders provided through both email and text for each session.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Michael They, DNP, PMHNP. From the very first appointment, it was immediately clear that he is not only exceptionally knowledgeable in his field but also genuinely compassionate and dedicated to the well-being of his patients. His professionalism is matched only by his warmth; he creates an environment where I have always felt heard, respected, and truly cared for. Dr. They’s approach to treatment is both thorough and personalized. He takes the time to understand the full scope of concerns, patiently listens without judgment, and thoughtfully collaborates on a plan of care that feels both achievable and empowering. His clinical insights are profound, and the efficacy of his interventions has made a tangible, positive difference in my life. His ability to explain complex psychiatric concepts in a clear, approachable way is another testament to his remarkable communication skills and deep expertise. What truly sets Dr. They apart is his mannerisms—always calm, respectful, and reassuring. His gentle demeanor, paired with his unwavering professionalism, provides an atmosphere where trust and healing naturally flourish. He goes beyond simply managing symptoms; he is committed to fostering genuine growth and resilience in his patients. In every interaction, Dr. They exemplifies empathy, patience, and a deep sense of dedication. It is rare to find a provider who balances clinical excellence with such a sincere, human touch. Thanks to his guidance, I have experienced profound improvements not only in my mental health but in my overall outlook on life. If you are seeking a psychiatric provider who is effective, compassionate, insightful, and truly invested in your success, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Michael They. He is truly one of a kind, and I am deeply grateful for the exceptional care he continues to provide.

I am a provider working with Grow Therapy and I am posting a review about a very distressing experience I recently had. I recently lost four family members (mother, brother, aunt, and uncle) and a very close family friend. Most of these losses have been within the last year or two, one as recently as January 2025. I fell behind on paperwork, probably no more than a month. Shockingly, Grow Therapy would not let me submit this paperwork (with the exception of a very small percentage), resulting in an exceptionally substantial loss of thousands of dollars for me. Losing THOUSANDS of dollars meant deciding which bills could be paid or not paid. I gave 68 sessions for FREE. At the time this happened, there was not a well-established and clear policy about any "exceptional circumstances" that permitted a provider to submit paperwork outside of a two week timeframe. Moreover, there is NO mention of any policy about this in my written contract with Grow Therapy. I also know that the majority of insurance companies will accept invoices between six months and one year. On top of all the tragedy that my family and I have endured, I cannot even fathom the idea that a MENTAL HEALTH platform had such little empathy for this extremely distressing misfortune in my life. This created so much more stress in my life that I did not need. In addition to the integral stress of working in this field and all the dedication, energy, and effort it takes to provide care for clients, I was completely devastated to learn the hard way how little support I had from Grow Therapy. It is with great disappointment that I read in the community pages for providers on Grow Therapy's website about how supportive Grow Therapy is, because I never experienced any of this during one of the most challenging and tragic times of my life. I HIGHLY recommend looking elsewhere to practice.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we’re truly sorry to hear about your losses. We understand that navigating professional responsibilities during personal hardship is incredibly challenging. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to identify your account to investigate these concerns or follow up directly, as we haven’t received a response to our previous request for additional details. If you’d like to provide more context or information, please feel free to do so via our contact form linked here: https://growtherapy.typeform.com/to/mN4HcvK0 To provide some additional clarity, Grow requires that invoices be submitted within 14 days of the session date to ensure clients are billed promptly and are not surprised by delayed charges. While we are always open to reviewing exceptional situations, we can’t always guarantee that expired invoices will be accepted retroactively, as timely submission is critical to maintaining transparent and fair billing practices for clients. Again, we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and the care you provide to your clients. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to continue the conversation with our team. Best, Grow Therapy Support Team

I wasn't notified that my auto pay wasn't working until the bill was so high they began canceling my upcoming sessions. It put my health in jeopardy as I was unable to reschedule with my provider until the bill was paid. The platform has been otherwise easy to navigate.

Grow Therapy has been such an easy navigation experience from the start! I googled “online therapy” and it was the first to show for me. The website is nicely laid out so I was able to schedule an appointment easily, and within just a few days I had met with a professional! I like how each therapist wrote about themselves first so you can skip the part where you’re not sure if they’ll be able to help with your specific problems. The therapist I chose was kind and knowledgeable about a variety of things. Also I have state insurance so it was free for me, they work with all kinds of health insurance so my needs were completely met. I will absolutely recommend to anyone who is nervous about getting help, as this was quick and simple, as well as helpful.
