Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. Jean has been wonderful for me and my two boys. He's patient, listens carefully, and never makes us feel rushed. My boys find him really helpful. He talks with them in a way they understand, and they leave their sessions feeling heard and more confident. As a parent, I appreciate how he keeps me involved while still giving them their own space. He truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend him to any family looking for a kind, knowledgeable psychiatrist.

I had my first therapy session through Grow Therapy and had such a positive experience. I felt comfortable being completely open and honest without feeling judged. My therapist truly listened to me, helped me understand things on a deeper level, and connected patterns from my childhood and adulthood in ways I hadn’t fully recognized before. I left the session feeling heard, understood, and genuinely excited to continue therapy. The process of finding a therapist and getting started was also very easy. I’m really glad I finally took this step.

Awful. Absolutely awful. First, they don't list all of a therapist's time slots. For example, a therapist is available at 6 pm EST, but it's not listed on their site. Also, I have been put through a complete nightmare. Both my personal therapist and couples counselor sessions were canceled completely. I was provided with no reason as to why my personal therapist sessions were canceled and didn't hear from her for a week. My couples counselor had to go out of her way to resolve this issue (we were both told/emailed about an insurance change, when neither of us changed anything about our insurance), which she didn't have to do. I tried calling them and had to deal with a bot that just gave me the runaround. I am very, very dissatisfied with the way their company is run and will be looking into other arrangements for therapy. I myself am a therapist (I work in ABA), and our Ethics Code makes this kind of treatment unethical. There is a discharge process that supervisors put into place when they start with a client. They should be ashamed of themselves for the crap you are okay with putting people through...especially people who need therapeutic services.

Hi Megan, We know that navigating scheduling and support should not add unnecessary complexity when seeking care. We’d like to better understand the concerns raised and have reached out through Trustpilot to learn more. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing from you.

This has been a great experience so far. I was a little apprehensive about doing virtual therapy, but the convenience of being in a home environment helped tremendously. My therapists were screened and chosen and Grow Therapy made that possible.

Just finished up my third session with a therapist on here. There's a lot of consideration for users on here - the dashboard is helpful but not overwhelming. The text message reminders are helpful to keep you on track (like pre-session check-ins on how you're feeling, you can see trends over-time, things you may want to be aware of or be experiencing in that moment). It's nice that they provided very visible support for navigating billing and insurance. The tools on the dashboard are great - there's a range of stuff there so you can choose how much or what you want to use / if you want to keep it to yourself or share it with your provider. The accessibility for video calls is great - I've done a few from my computer on wifi and one on my cell phone with cell service, no issues. I've done in-person therapy and I can attest that I don't feel any lack of connection with my therapist because we're in different places. Definitely recommend this company. :)

We were seen on time. The provider was kind, understanding, listened intently, answered all my questions and was open to our input on care.
