Insurance Fraud

I am filing a formal complaint against Grow Therapy for what I believe to be fraudulent billing practices and a lack of accountability in their service. I scheduled a virtual therapy appointment with one of their providers. The appointment lasted no more than ten minutes and was focused solely on discussing medication. No therapeutic services were provided. Despite this, the provider never submitted the prescription, ignored all of my follow-up messages, and failed to provide any actual care. To make matters worse, the provider scheduled a follow-up appointment—presumably to bill me again—while still ignoring my messages and failing to address the original issue. Grow Therapy has now billed both me and my insurance company for services that were never rendered. I have repeatedly contacted Grow Therapy’s customer service to dispute these charges. I was told that nothing could be done due to “insurance agreements.” I specifically asked to escalate the matter to a manager or the escalations department, but I was repeatedly told “no” and was instead informed of an “investigation” that no one has followed up on. At this point, Grow Therapy is charging for services that were not delivered, refusing to take accountability, and ignoring legitimate customer concerns. This constitutes fraudulent and unethical business practices.
