I HAVE BEEN A GROOMIT CUSTOMER FOR 2 YEARS, AFTER MY PUP WAS INJURED AT AN UPPER WEST SIDE SALON-- FOR SAFETY AND TRUST, WE STARTED USING GROOMIT, NEVER LOOKING BACK AND LOVING EVERY HAIRCUT. I CONSTANTLY SELECT THE SAME PLAN (GOLD), SAME PICTURES, SAME NEEDS. SUDDENLY, MY FAVORITE GROOMERS LEFT THE COMPANY?? IT SEEMS THAT THE COMPANY HAS HIRED 'NEWBEES' HAIRCUTTERS, BASICALLY STRAIGHT OUT OF 'PETCO/ PETSMART'-- AND NOT CONCERNED WITH QUALITY OR CALMING AN ANIMAL OR PARENT. TODAY, EVEN AFTER EXPRESSING CONCERNS WITH THE COMPANY, THEY SENT A 'NEWBEE'-- HE DIDNT KNOW THAT I HAD PAID FOR 'DEMATTING'--WHAT THE PLAN INCLUDED, AND WAS NOT GROOMIT CALIBER. INSTEAD OF GETTING A PROFESSIONAL CALL BACK-- AFTER THE GROOMER SAID "HE WAS NOT COMFORTABLE"-- MY MESSAGE WAS RECEIVED FROM THE COMPANY "WRONG INSTRUCTIONS SENT TO GROOMER-"- BILLED--$325.00. NOT ONLY WAS THIS UNFROFESSIONAL, BUT LACKED ETHICS AND KINDNESS-- MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY (LOVE CHASE) NOW HAS THIS AS DISPUTE- (ALWAYS TAKE SCREENSHOTS)- AND BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. THEY ARE RESEARCHING OSHA RULES FROM GROOMIT. RECOMMENDATION: IF YOU LOVE YOUR GROOMER STICK WITH HIM HER-- DON'T LET A NEWBEE TAKE OVER.

What an amazing service. They book an appointment at your convenience. I have a long hair Maincoon Calico. The Techs are amazing as well. My fur baby was all matted up & in need for a groom. I went to the site and chatted with representative, and needed a booking asap. Well they were at my house within an hour. I explained how I wanted my cat groomed and what an amazing job the did. I recommend this service to anyone with fur babies or doggies. You won't be disappointed, thats a fact. Ty and the price you couldn't beat. Ty to Helen and Leo for being very professional.

Such a horrible experience. First off our groomer showed up a half an hour early, we had plans on getting our dog the proper exercise before to make sure he was calm for the appointment and that rushed things. Then our groomer never introduced herself, she immediately just made comments that made it very clear that she was scared of our dog. It was clear this very young and very inexperienced groomer did not know how to handle German shepherds. We offered to assist her and she said she would let us know. 30 min later we get a text that she is finished. I was shocked as I requested the middle package which included a good amount of services. She then told us all she was able to do was brush and bath him. The point of a groomer was to get ours dogs nails trimmed, ears cleaned and the sanitary haircut as those are things I do not feel I can do on my own. The support from groomits customer support following this was even worse. They did not listen to my needs, they offered a credit. I will never use this service again.
