I originally went to Great Clips in Concord, New Hampshire, over 8 years ago. It was there that I was lucky enough to have Marilyn cut and style my hair. I later followed her to the Great Clips in Gilford, New Hampshire just to have HER cut my hair. Through the years, my hair has been longer and my hair has been shorter. No matter what I ask Marilyn to do, she jumps right in and just does it. She's very good at what she does and she's even a nicer person. She always has a smile and her good nature is so refreshing. The salon in Gilford is well located and exceptionally clean. All the stylists are kind and courteous. The prices for hair cuts are reasonable and they have lots of hair products to sell. Marilyn always sees that I use recommended hair products at home and I do. Thanks for such a great experience!!! I am so happy to have found Marilyn and Great Clips. Give that wonderful woman a RAISE! Thank you.

They've almost balded me multiple times

Went here because my regular place, my barber is off for awhile. I was unfortunate to have Andrea cut (hack) my hair. First, she smells like cigarette and cheap perfume. I told her what number clipper to use on the sides and back and stated wanted the top short but long enough to comb. She cut the sides and back with the clipper and then proceeded to cut my hair shorter with scissors. She then barely took any off the top and when I said I would like it a bit shorter, she proceeded to cut it extremely short and uneven. She basically gave me a military recruit haircut when they enter boot camp. One sideburn she cut half inch higher than the other. The top and sides are uneven and not long enough to comb. How she passed any test to get a license is beyond me. I would only recommend going here and letting her cut your hair if you want your head shaved.

I got my haircut yesterday. Izzy (York Crossings) did a wonderful job. I went shorter than normal so I wasn't the greatest explaining what I wanted. But Izzy took her time and my cut came out fanastic.

I will NEVER in my life go back here they always cut way to much off I asked the lady to cut my hair PAST MY SHOULDERS and she took 7 in off so either these people are stupid or they don’t know what their doing.

This is for the Great Clips in Manitiowoc. To start, it is a half an hour after my wife's supposed time for her haircut. Next one stylist spent that whole half hour trimming a guy's head that was already short all the while yapping with him. Another client came and got his haircut and left before the endless trim. Then when both clients left at the same time, both stylists disappeared into the back room for 15 minutes for who knows what. Plus there was a third person who basically did nothing there. Going to look for another hair place. Oh, and the third person is just leaning on the counter doing zip. No wonder your wait times are ridiculous. One star is more than this place deserves.

Be cautious: this place can really mess with your head. I had a session with Pamela J. and, like many others have noted, I wish I had read the reviews first. I had previously received a great haircut from another stylist here, but she doesn't come in until after 1 p.m. It's shocking that they have employees who clearly lack experience. The stylist I worked with had no knowledge of haircut terminology and left visible lines on the back of my head. I wasn't shown the back, which may have contributed to this issue. She didn't blend the haircut at all, so I had to visit another barbershop to get it fixed. It's hard to believe they allow inexperienced people to work here. While the conversation was pleasant enough, they seemed to focus on differences, like where clients are from, and even made subtle jabs about being Floridians. It made me uncomfortable. In short, read the reviews. Do yourself a favor and get a quality haircut from a real barber for $25-35. It's worth it.

Great experience at Signal Butte and Queen Creek Rds location! Stylist was attentive and gave me the exact cut I asked for. This location is now my favorite!
