Just the best credit union I’ve ever had! The free checking with perks and no minimum balance is wonderful in itself. Add on the ease of obtaining a loan and the friendliness of all the employees there, it’s a “win win”!!! You can’t go wrong banking here!

Would be great to have 1/2 day open on Saturday for people who work Mon - Fri.

Proud member since 1983. I absolutely would recommend Great Basin to anyone looking for a bank! Over the years I have had my debit card number stolen and used, they are always really on top of it. They always do the investigation in a timely manner and get my money back in my account asap. Thank You GBFCU! I love the online banking the website is super user friendly.

They are the best!

I had fraud on my bank card, the south Reno branch acted as if I was lying to them. I still have never gotten a resolution to the problem. If I did not have my loans through them I would change banks in a heartbeat. The sparks location is definitely the best one as they listen and do what they say. Needless to say I will drive out of my way to go to the Sparks location for any banking needs.

Having banked at many of the big name banks as well as other credit unions over my lifetime, I have had the opportunity to compare. That said, GBFCU is hands-down THE BEST! It starts with the atmosphere at the branch offices where the staff is professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. In additional, there is such a willingness to help from everyone I've ever encountered--they just make everything easy. I like the products that GBFCU offers and the rates are comparable or better to other financial institutions. Considering all my transactions and interactions at GBFCU over the years, I can honestly say that I have complete confidence in GBFCU and it's staff!
