Ive had two dressers and 2 nightstands for almost a month and they are completely unusable. The chemical smell coming from the wood has not subsided, even with putting the drawers outside because they made my entire house smell horrible. When contacted they took several days and only suggested I try cleaning them and airing them out. I havent been able to put anything in them because of this and they have refused any other help. I dont want these and will be looking to replace them immediately. DONT BUY FROM THEM.

I’m very happy with this five-drawer chest! One of my favorite things about it is that it’s made of real wood, so it feels sturdy, durable, and high quality—not like inexpensive particleboard furniture. Assembly was surprisingly easy, and the instructions were clear and simple to follow.

I purchased this furniture because Grain Wood Furniture markets itself as a healthier, low-VOC option. Instead, more than two weeks later, my daughter’s room STILL reeks of strong chemicals. I have wiped the furniture down multiple times, removed and aired out every drawer in a separate room, kept the room ventilated, purchased activated-charcoal odor absorbers, and finally spent another $100 on an air purifier. Nothing has eliminated the smell. It is still so strong that I am uncomfortable having my daughter sleep in the room, especially because she has asthma. The worst part is that I specifically replaced other furniture with this because I believed I was choosing a safer option for my child. A company that markets its products as healthier and low-VOC should not be selling furniture that continues to fill a child’s bedroom with a powerful chemical odor weeks later. This feels scary, irresponsible, and completely misleading. I deeply regret this purchase. The furniture has created weeks of stress, extra expense, and worry when it was supposed to give me peace of mind. Absolutely horrible experience.

I'm a first time customer and was super impressed. First off, the communication was clear and concise. They're not spammy at all like a lot of other companies. Second, the packaging was really high quality. You can tell they care about getting you your furniture without it getting dinged up. We got the Mid Century Spindle Set + Cascais Round Dining Table and both were perfectly packed, with clear labeling which was super helpful during assembly. The furniture itself was really nice too (honestly best I've ever owned). You can tell it's quality and thoughtfully designed. Assembly was super easy, instructions are clear. Overall, super impressed, and would buy again. Love supporting a family-owned company!

1/5 Stars — Misleading "Satisfaction Guarantee" and terrible policy for defective items I wanted to love this furniture, but the product quality did not meet my expectations, and the support experience was deeply frustrating. While their marketing highlights a "30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee" stating you can return or exchange items if they don't meet your expectations, the fine print is a trap. If an item arrives structurally damaged or warped straight from the manufacturer, they refuse returns entirely and force you into replacement parts. It makes zero logical sense that a customer who simply changes their mind can return an item under their 30-day policy, but a customer who receives a defective, poorly manufactured product due to a factory quality control failure is penalized and blocked from a return. Buyer beware: if they send you a broken piece, you are stuck dealing with their replacement parts rather than getting your money back.

This bedroom set is absolutely beautiful and has the look and feel of high‑end designer furniture. The craftsmanship is excellent, the pieces are incredibly sturdy, and assembly was surprisingly easy. I’m thrilled with this purchase.

Definite toxic smell! I wish that I'd done a more thorough check of reviews before buying a dresser. I think many people are not sensitive to it. These are solid wood in the sense that not particleboard...but it is glued together solid wood and the glues are nasty. Also, the side panels are a glued on veneer on solid wood slabs...not a solid piece of wood. Functional but now going in a spare room after some time airing out in garage.

The furniture is well made and gives lots of storage space. Bigger drawers than all other dressers we looked at. Very happy that it’s real pine wood that they source locally. Very nice looking, especially the gray metal handles with the mocha stain. The nightstand was out of stock and they were great in communicating about it. Notified me when it was restocked and it was shipped immediately. Great experience.
