When the love of my life, my dog, Max, was diagnosed with cancer, the doctor told me that without treatment he would only live 3 weeks to a month. Thank goodness I had PetPlan insurance, they covered everything related to the cancer, the chemotherapy, the pills, everything! I have the greatest customer service representative, Amy Bellingrath, who checks up on Max and makes sure I'm getting everything I need. Amy and I even share pictures of our dogs. I feel like we're good friends! I know Petplan really cares about my dog. I highly recommend PetPlan insurance to anyone who loves their pet! xo Debbie Silverman

GoPetPlan.com is the most incredible pet insurance company. After losing our 16 1/2 year old bichon frise about 5 years ago and spending a lot of money on vet bills, we didn't want to find ourselves in that financial situation again. We researched quite a few pet insurance companies, and after speaking to Amy Bellingrath at GoPetPlan.com decided to invest in the insurance for our 5 year old bichon Beau and our newly adopted maltipoo Doodle. Best decision we ever made! Not only did we receive incredible personal service, and very timely reimbursement, our poor little Beau became a very very sick little dog with a very rare disease. GoPetPlan.com reimbursed us $15,509 over the last 5 years of his life. I hope I never have to be reimbursed again for Doodle and our newest furry family member Sugar(a chihuahua, corgi,papillon? mix)...but it is so comforting to know that the insurance plan is there if we need it. I have signed up many family members and friends due to my experiences. I just wish my own personal health insurance was this personal and had such great coverage.

You've got to be crazy not have pet insurance! Would you not have health insurance for yourself or a family member?!? The customer service was (and is) so awesome when we needed to submit a claim for Huck's ACL surgery and ongoing need to be on NSAIDs... Thank you Petplan!

I have had Petplan insurance policies for my dogs and cat since 2008. Just a few months after I signed them up, my dog Lydia was diagnosed with cancer. Her primary vet didn't have much hope that she would be with me past six months. Within a few days of her diagnosis I took her to an oncologist, who was more hopeful. We started her on chemotherapy right away and over the next six years Petplan was there every step of the way for countless x-rays, bloodwork, ultrasounds, a CT scan, chemotherapy, radiation, and more. They paid out close to 50K for her treatment over the years. During Lydia's illness my cat Tequila and dog Archie were also diagnosed with cancer. Their illnesses were much shorter, but again, Petplan was there every step of the way. Having health insurance, and Petplan in particular, has been such a blessing! I can't imagine where I would be financially right now had I not bought health insurance in 2008. Knowing Petplan was there, and knowing how easy they are to work with allowed me to put my pets' health first. It's super easy to file a claim, and they pay them quickly. And in addition to the financial help, everybody I've ever talked with has been very caring and compassionate. I want to especially thank Happiness Manager, Amy Bellingrath. She's taken the time to get to know me and my pets, and I can tell she genuinely cares. Call her and tell her Lydia's mom sent you! She'll be happy to help get you started.

After spending thousands on my previous Rocky, I knew I would need help this time around. AARP sent me information on Pet Plan. I called and got insurance for my Rocky Deuce! I hope I don't need to use it but nice to have in my pocket.

I have three dogs and when I got my first dog (about 7 years ago), I knew that I wanted to get her pet insurance. She was only a baby but I wanted to make sure she was protected. I intensely researched all the insurance carriers and decided on Petplan. That was the BEST DECISION I ever made. As I acquired by other dogs, I bought policies for all of them with Petplan. I was very impressed by their customer service representatives and by the policies/coverage they offered. My little girl dog became very ill this year and had to have some pretty heavy treatments. I was so upset and stressed worrying about her but the one thing I didn't have to worry about was her care and making sure she got the best care there was. Petplan was there every inch of the way and they were so GREAT. Not only do they have a very good selection of comprehensive packages to choose from but they truly care about what happens to our pets. During the time that my little dog has been ill and receiving treatment, I have received many personal emails from representatives at Petplan inquiring as to how my dog was doing and if there was anything they could do to help me. Dealing with Petplan and her insurance claims was the most flawless experience I have ever had. No problems whatsoever. Claims are submitted and paid quickly. There is no recommendation I could make that would be high enough in regards to their service. This is one exceptional insurance company. If you are trying to find a great insurance company that you can trust and be assured that your pet (family member) will be well taken care of (or, if you have friends and/or family that are looking for health insurance for their pets) then search no more and go with Petplan. I am so thankful and grateful that I did. I recommend them to everyone I know. I have told my vets office that they should only recommend Petplan to the clients. It is the BEST EVER!!!

My dog was suddenly paralyzed in his back legs after he herniated a disc in this spine. We rushed him to the hospital and he was diagnosed with Intervertebral disc disease. He needed an emergency neurological surgery. It was nice to not have to worry about the seven thousand dollars that the surgery would cost because we already had pet insurance. I was not expect to see any of that money again but Pet plan covered the WHOLE surgery. I received the reimbursement check in less than 30 days. They also called me to follow up and see how my dog was doing( he is now walking). I would HIGHLY recommend pet plan.
