No Follow-up Service
Update: I will say that after providing details to GoodRX after they responded to this complaint, a doctor prescribed a different antibiotic. It should not have taken 36 hours and multiple, increasingly frustrated messages, though. The initial consultation was fine. I was prescribed an antibiotic for a UTI. Unfortunately, even with food, the antibiotic made me extremely nauseous, and I couldn't eat or drink. I messaged a follow up, twice, that was finally answered after 13 hours. It was a stock reply that, based on my symptoms, I should see a doctor in person. My symptoms HAD NOT CHANGED. I was simply nauseous from the prescription and wanted to know if I should switch to a different antibiotic (there are several commonly used for UTI's) or if I could get a rx of Zofran for the nausea. I replied AGAIN and have not heard back. And considering that a hurricane is currently passing over my house, an in-person doctor's visit isn't very practical. If this is how GoodRX handles a simple follow-up, I will cancel my membership.
