Paid $60 for nothing — complete waste of time and money. I paid $60 for a consultation with GoodRx Care, hoping to receive a prescription for a simple topical antibiotic (mupirocin) based on very clear symptoms and photos. Instead, after going through their entire intake process, uploading photos, ID, answering 20+ questions, and waiting for the doctor — I was told to “go to Urgent Care.” That’s it. No treatment, no advice, just “go somewhere else.” This is not telemedicine — this is a scam. If they’re not allowed to prescribe what people clearly need, they should say that before taking your money. Complete waste of time, energy, and $60. I would never use this service again and would warn others to stay away.

I woke up with a poison ivy rash the morning of a very early flight for a vacation in Mexico. At the airport I looked online for telehealth providers and decided to go with GoodRx. Everything occurred through messages with a clinician. It felt like AI but the person had a name. Everytime you get a message it emails you telling you to enter your email address. Then you have to wait for a code to come through another email - such a hassle. Replies to questions were slow to come. When I finally received a prescription for a cream to treat the rash it came with a link to a drug store near my home (even though I was hundreds of miles from my home). When I clicked on the link the cost of the little tube of cream was nearly $1300! And that was with the "Gold Card." I've had this issue before and the last time, the cost was about $20. I ended up finding a pharmacy in Mexico who sold me a generic version of the drug over the counter for about $20. I think GoodRx is not good. After I submitted the review about “GoodRx” they communicated to me through trust pilot a reply saying to call them for a refund since they couldn’t locate any information about my account. This despite sending me, count them, 18 emails! I just wanted review readers to know that in fact I was a Gold member and after one day cancelled my subscription.

I am thankful that my prescriptions are mostly covered by GoodRX.

Gold is a life saver! It almost always beats hell out of my part D insurance.

I paid for a “telehealth” appointment. The NP assigned to my case called me on the phone only to verify my state and birthday. There was no actual “appointment”. Unsure of GoodRX policy for telehealth appointments but my experience was not thorough nor patient-specific. Be aware providers may only use the information from your forums filled out prior to your “appointment” without clarifying or seeking additional health information from you.

Easy to use, great discounts. It's amazing and sad how much they are able to discount prescriptions. I have one that would cost me $3,900 to get, but with RX it cost me less then $40.00. That's insane, and again sad on how much the mark up is for the pharmaceutical company.
