Good Dog definitely helps find amazing homes for our puppies.

I purchased a dog from Billie Kidwell. Do not consider buying any dog from her. I purchased a male German Shepherd 6 months old. Was told that there were issues going into this purchase, which is not the problem I have with this breeder. The day that I was to pickup the dog I was shocked by what arrived. A dog covered in ticks, scars on its muzzle, a notched ear. ( small section of ear missing) feces on his rear hips and informed that he was given a dewormer that morning, also no shot records. Knowing I had a 3 hour drive . I knew in my heart I had to get this dog away from this person. Do not buy from her more of a puppy mill instead of a breeder. The dog I paid for did not live inside an air conditioned kennel. Wished animal control would checkout her operation.

Gooddog brings the best, most informed puppy shoppers of any platform. I appreciate that they can SEE my health certs and read about the dogs in my program. I also love the ease of payment system, every buyer had paid for their pup before delivery which made the go-home day entirely focused on the pup.

I had four litters to find homes for, nineteen puppies in all. I have found homes for fifteen of them so far. All but one coming from Good Dog. Good Dog covers all the bases for breeders and puppy buyers alike. Breeders are supported by the platform one hundred percent. When issues arise between breeder and Buyer they act as a go between. They never push only suggest avenues of resolution. They always stress civility. As a breeder I really appreciate all the help they give me. This ranges from bringing me inquiries to continuing education and legal council when needed. I believe they always try their best to make the puppy buying process as seemless as possible for breeder and buyer.

I loved the service when it started. Seemed like there was a real effort to distinguish good breeders from backyard breeders. However I noticed a change when they needed payment through their program to be labeled a “Great breeder”. How does that have anything to do with quality? NOW they are adding $225 fee per puppy I sell - that’s $1000 per litter for a listing website. No thanks, I’m canceling.
