After my original experience with Gold Star, I received a phone call and a letter with sincere apologies and explanations as to what originally happened with my wire transfer. I appreciated both and look forward to a positive relationship with Gold Star. I opened a Gold Star account to begin the process of purchasing physical gold for a portion of my IRA. My financial firm received your form and wired the money on September 20, 2023. After inquiring multiple times from September 22-25, Gold Star insisted they did NOT receive the money. After 5-6 phone calls between Gold Star and my financial institution on the 25th confirming ALL info for the wire was correct, we started a recall of our money. No one at Gold Star seemed to want to help and just kept on telling me to call my financial institution. The money finally showed up in our account late in the day on the 25, only after my representative from Birch Gold started inquiring. This should have never happened and was unacceptable. In my over 30 years of owning a business I have never on either side encountered missing wire monies. We did stop the recall, but I must say this experience has soured me on the capabilities of Gold Star and am very weary of moving foreword with your company.
