Did not end up purchasing. There was confusion on how large of an area could be printed for a certain price. I wish there would have been more clarifcation on the webiste, or some sort of error message when I submitted a file that was too large for the "plate size" I had selected. This confusion was mostly user error as I was able to selected the 8.5x11 paper sixe, but didn't catch the "foil area" size. Again, I was able to subit a file with a foil area much greater than what I had selected. The sales rep was not very helpful in explaining the error, just told me that I had to pay extra. There was a good amount of back and forth before I decided to cancel the order. At that point, I felt like a pain to him as I asked quite a few questions. I still have not received a refund, I never confirmed my artwork, so there was never any final agreement/confirmation for the print job to be completed.

Printing Quality Issue with Excuse My experience with Gold Image Printing is a bit disappointed. - I ordered double-sided business card for same-biz day. - I was in the traffic so I couldn't make it. I should've done the shipping cause there was no shipping charge. SO I request the hand-in delivery for next day. - Hand-in delivery was guaranteed around 1pm but it arrives around 4pm. - I opened it and found out the back side with information layout goes left side but up and down space was okay (However, the company told me the employees might be confused since sometimes it could be the original design but IT WASN'T). - So they doubled up the printing amount for me as compensation but it was temporary thing for me so it wasn't an actual solution to resolve the issue. - They ended up printing 250 pcs total, HOWEVER, the edge of the business card was a MESS.

for: -Bad customer service when a customer calls. -Promised delivery time & date is a lie -curbside pick-up is horrible, nobody comes out, I had to go and look for these people inside. texting curbside: nobody answers when customers need it the most -communication with clients is bad My order was for the next business day, and it took 5 days to be ready. So that is a lie, i had a horrible experience. Wont recommended to anybody.

Could not be happier with making our decision to work with Gold Image. They are professional, accommodating, and timely. Not to mention their staff is friendly and extremely on top of what they do. Their product speaks for itself and our customers constantly say how cool/nice/high quality our stickers are. Gold image has the name for a reason.

TLDR: if you offer 2-day printing, a project should not take 7 days to print (not including the full week it took to get correct file prep info from their team & approve the proofs), with a "broken printer" magically working again once we ask to speak with a manager. -- After doing some research, we chose GIP because they are a local company and provided specialty printing (we chose digital foil printing) for our client's wedding invitation printing. We purchased 3 products through their website: digital foil invitations, standard RSVP cards, and standard directions cards, and downloaded their provided Adobe Illustrator templates to make sure everything was good to go. The proof process took a full week — each round they did not provide the invitation back design and there were issues with the setup for the foil within the proof so we called each day in the morning to talk with our designer and they would call back in the evening with our edits to submit the next day. Finally, we were connected via email and Josh was very kind to respond more quickly there. We didn't make any complaints during the proof process as some back and forth is normal but this was beginning to feel excessive when the correct information could have just been provided on the website or within the proof file (the digital foil template was no different than the regular templates). Once everything was approved on the Tuesday after submitting the original designs, we waited until the following Monday with zero update on what was supposed to be 2-day printing. We gave them a call, and were informed that the printers "were down" Thursday and Friday and that our prints would "be ready tomorrow morning". The next day, we call back and are informed that our prints "might be ready this afternoon but might be ready tomorrow" and each call I ask for an email to have proof of this to which they respond "an email will be sent once your order is ready for pickup". At this point we ask for at least a partial refund (which they've agreed to providing a few times but never followed through on) for not even coming close to 2-day printing, and we are refunded $50. Finally, on Wednesday we call, get the same answer and this time request to speak to a manager but are told they're in a meeting and will call back later, so we let the receptionist know how unacceptable our experience has been and that even with printers down we should have received communication with this update and a realistic turnaround time. We are told again that our prints "might be ready this afternoon but might be ready tomorrow" and are asked if we would like our order cancelled if they're not ready by tomorrow. We let the receptionist know that we would like to speak with a manager first before making this decision and request to have them call us back at their earliest convenience. We wait until the afternoon, with no call from the manager, and call back to see if they're available this time but they are still in meetings. Magically, we are informed that all prints are ready for pickup, though, so we head down to the shop to pick everything up. The pickup process was simple, they have a drive up service and brought our items out to us where we checked all prints and they thankfully were all correct. Our design for the digital foil was too detailed so it was slightly offset from where we wanted the foil to be, but we were informed this may be a problem from the beginning and took the risk anyways. The quality was nice and I think many people won't look close enough to notice the imperfections in the foil printing.
