The move was done in 4 hours with 3 movers. They set up our TV and connected all the cables, making our first night in the new home easy.

this is an unprofessional, overcharging, just-after-your-money moving - more like throwing around - company. They damaged 2 TVs, folded a mattress and broke numerous light fixturesm- all not usable anymore and, lost or stole some boxes (all my tools are missing) and did not help with unpacking or basic furniture assembly. poor performance. Use at your own risk. Poor value and disastrous results. I truly wish I had not called them. Find someone else and steer clear from these criminals.

Arrived on time, moved everything outside then told me it was going to be 2k more than my quote! Picked up on June 12 but didn’t deliver until July 3rd! 2 broken TV’s and I had to setup our beds. DO NOT USE these scammers & con artists!!!!!!

GGR is sorry that you had issues with your move. We encourage Mr. Pollack to make use of the claims/complaint process as stated in his estimate as we had not been advised after delivery that there were any issues with his move. The client was delivered in 12 business days and his estimated delivery time was 1-10 business days just 2 days outside of his estimated delivery window for a very small move.

Don’t use them!! They moved our home from across the country, well some of it. They literally went shopping through our belongings. My wedding ring is gone, new shoes still in the box, my mom’s old platter worth little money, and so much more. One box of clothing was ransacked and they left things turned inside out. We reported all the broken and stolen items including a 55 inch tv. We filled out their fake claims information and was offered a whopping $119 to compensate our losses. Don’t trust them!!!!

Golden Gate is very sorry to hear the client had issues with the move. We are disturbed to hear a client would not understand the terms of their estimate which clearly states: LIABILITY: Golden Gate Relocation: You are not able to give to us to carry and we accept no liability whatsoever for firearms, jewelry, cash, banknotes, any financial instruments, hazardous materials, liquids. The contract also states the valuation for free on the move is $0.60 per pound per article so the client was offered compensation based on the weight of the items damages.

We are already disappointed with the price bait and switch. Now I am worried I will not get my belongings as promised. This is typical of these crooked moving companies. We were assured in writing that it would not increase. They were very quick to add 50%.

GGR would like the opportunity to address your move issues however we do need to know who you are and more details about your move such as a job number or full name on the move.

Golden gate was amazing. They had fair pricing , no hidden fees on the delivery .The management team addressed and handled all my concerns in a timely manner. The actual owner personally called me to reassure me that the few small issues would be handled and they were the next day. The move out team took special care with the packing and padding of my furniture .Nothing was lost or misplaced. Please don’t look any farther.
