Ordered a go kart and asked them to hold off shipping for a week. In the mean time they sold it to someone else (which they admitted) and put it on backorder. I called the company to discuss. I was hung up on once, disconnected during transfer, and now they have blocked every number I try to contact them from. Now Christmas will be ruined for my kids since all their gifts are based off the go kart. They refuse to right their wrong. Go somewhere else.

Had a little trouble following the ordering procedure, but managed to get it done.

very easy to find what i needed

When I purchased my go kart, it came with a free gift, so I chose the battery charger ($39). I also used a coupon for my purchase which saved me $38 on my $1,910 order. I wasn’t notified until a few days later during the “Your item is ready to be shipped” email that I couldn’t use both the coupon and free gift, so they automatically took off the slightly higher priced battery charger and gave me the cheaper discount instead, without even asking me. It also said I could purchase the charger separately. Now I have to buy the battery charger separately which will now cost me $49 due to shipping. I understand your a business and it’s all about the profit, but this is a simple customer service issue that could have been easily taken care of by a phone call instead of making the decision for the customer, or better yet, build it into your ordering process where you’re not allowed to choose both.

As for the reply, I was back in town when you shipped my order. It was in stock when I ordered. You agreed to hold onto one and ship in a few days. I NEVER authorized or requested refund. You admitted to selling it to someone else. The fine print on my invoice says if an item is on backorder it will state that on the invoice. My invoice says nothing about being on backorder. Make it right and own up to your mistake. "Several options" were not offered as you state. You wouldn't even let me speak with a manager. Quit tweaking the story to make yourself look good. Also, I am still awaiting the said "refund" to show up. I contacted the BBB regarding them. Go Karts USA claimed to the BBB it was a fraudulent review. I provided an invoice to the BBB. We will see where that goes. Guess it is time to get the credit card company involved. They have told other review sites the same story in an attempt to have my reviews removed. They claim I am one of three people affiliated with a competitor. I can assure you I am simply a consumer and am in no way affiliated with a competitor. I did order early, almost 2 full months before Christmas, while it was still in stock. You sold the one you were holding for us for less than 5 days to someone else. I told you color was not important. The fact is I paid IN FULL for the go kart and you sold it out from underneath us. Reordering is not an option since it is out of stock for delivery by Christmas. You have ruined Chrismas for my daughters. All their gifts revolved around this go kart. UPDATE: I was able to order from someone else who gave me an even better deal than their Black Friday deal!
