I have ordered glasses on line from other providers in the past without incident. Decided to give Global Eyeglasses a chance and ordered a pair of glasses costing more than $200. My eyeglasses arrived via regular mail after waiting for a couple weeks. However, they were defective, with splotchy coating on each lens. The defect was obvious from a cursory inspection and it was evident that manufacturing was shoddy and that there was no quality control. Their website repeatedly failed to provide an RMA number (required to process a refund) so I called their support line. The person on the support line was disinterested in the problem once I told him I wanted a refund, was unapologetic, and told me he was emailing an RMA number with a return address. The email never arrived and I am still trying to get this processed for refund. If I cannot get closure with this company in the next couple days, I will be on the phone with the credit card company to context the charge. Bottom line: There are plenty of other on-line eyeglass companies that provide a reasonable product and price point. This is not one of them. Way too much hassle to return a defective product. Stay away from Global Eyeglasses!!

I ordered glasses from Global Eyeglasses and found them just as good if not better than getting them from an expensive eye clinic that over charge you. My eye glasses were under $70 and were bifocals! I recommend the next time you need eye glasses you ordr them from Global.

It took one month, three phone calls, and two lame excuses from a Global Eyeglasses customer service rep before I received my glasses. I have purchased eyeglasses from three of your online competitors and received them within seven days. They also provided informative emails that notified me of the status of my shipment and enabled me to track the delivery. Global Eyeglasses did not. My friends and I buy eyeglasses like we buy shoes ... lots of them but, we won't be buying them from Global Eyeglasses. It's apparent that you can't provide timely delivery or honest customer service.

I do. I'll admit I was a little nervous about trying it, but the result was very satisfying. Not only did I save a lot of money, but I think the quality of the frames and lenses is very good. Global Eyeglasses provides online tools to help you "see" yourself with the various frames. Plus, you can even measure your PD online! If you're the type that needs immediate gratification, you may not be very happy about the time it takes to receive the product (almost 2 weeks), but the money you saved could help you get over it. Overall, I had a smooth transaction and would definitely consider buying glasses this way next time.

The glasses themselves are just fine, however the case they came in is inconveniently small, so one has to push on the earpieces to get the glasses in. Could you send me a larger case made to fit the Anthony 56mm glasses?
