i bought a pair of glasses - the turn around was acceptable, but they just broke after having them for 2 weeks. One off the pins broke off where the arm meets the lens. I will try to get these repaired. I'll amend this when I get some response from them.

After buying new glasses from a local "discount" retailer, I decided to try Global for prescrption sunglasses. When I saw the pricing, I also ordered a 2nd pair of every day glasses. The glasses were deliverd quickly, and are everything I had hoped for. I have recommended to friends, and doubt that I'll ever buy elsewhere.

Website is very well designed and it works OK. Offer is very good (I assume quality should be OK). One remark to website: there should be given some more info for non-US buyers - especially for shipping. And there is (almost) nonexisting after sales support. I bought some glasses - shipment arrived on schedule, but with wrong documents (forcing to pay additional charges). Although I informed Gobal Eyeglasses about it by myself and asked DHL to do so - with no effect. There were few days when shipment stayed in DHL storage waiting for clearing, and within this time I tried - in all available ways: e-mail, chat and phone to contact support to make it happen to arrange proper documents. Of some maybe 50 trials to contact there was only one reaction: to pass the case to manager to decide. Then I say after sales support (almost) doesn't exist. Since there was no decision, so shipment was sent back - and there is still no reaction after some 2 weeks. If there will be no reaction still I will be forced to request payment back - luckily VISA covers this kind of cases.

I have been a customer for more than 5 years and never did let me down. Very convenient when ordering. Shipping and handling is very reasonable but the price...its more than reasonable. You cant get better than that. Way more cheaper than any optical store. I just love this place and i have been recommeded this site to my family and friends and same as me, they are all overwhelmed.

Easy ordering. Took about 2 weeks to arrive. Great price for a great pair of glasses. I will be purchasing more.

After a confusion with my order that no one informed me of that became obvious when a week later my glasses still have not arrived, Global Eyeglasses were horrible on fixing it. When I had to speak with their customer service over the phone I got to see how they really treat their customers. I will admit I became outraged. But who wouldn't when you were told that your glasses would arrive in 3 days in time for your final exams when in reality you call them again in 3 days and they are still not even shipped out? Not only could they not seem to be honest, they would not give me any straight answers. When I persisted I was hung up on, when I asked for a manager 2 hours before closing time the response was they didn't have one available. Call back a few minutes later, the manager was in a meeting that would not be over till the end of the day. I request a call back by someone who could give me a straight answer and no one calls me. Five days later I finally receive my glasses, a week later the glass lens chips without cause. Put my glasses on the table, wake up there is a chip. Worst thing is I refrain from sending them in for a refund or exchange wondering if I would even get my glasses back, or if it is just a scam to try and get more money out of me. Yes the site is cheap, but look for another for Global Eyeglasses just rips you off and treats you like scum.

I love this company! I've bought at least 4 pairs of glasses from them without any problems. It's much better than paying highway robbery charges anywhere else. I highly recommend Global Eyeglasses to friends and family whenever possible.
