I've had Akko for years and had to make 2 claims - one when my smart watch suffered from water damage and one when my AirPods were stolen. I primarily purchased this coverage as a more affordable way to protect my iPhone but have found it so useful for all of my other items. The claims process is incredibly smooth and they even send payment via Venmo or PayPal so you can replace your devices more quickly. I love the piece of mind this coverage provides and that I can protect my individual devices without ever having to make a Homeowners claim - for which the deductible is too high to cover these items individually. I am so glad I purchased Akko Coverage and could not be more satisfied with the level of service I continue to receive.

Easiest & fastest claim service I've ever experienced & I'm an insurance agent of 12+ years! I know how claims can get lengthy with lots of paperwork, phone calls, hassles. This is not the case with Akko! It was so simple & streamlined. The best thing about Akko is the fact that they reimbursed me direct. My phone was ran over on a Sunday. I knew it was beyond repair (it was crushed), so I went to the Verizon store & purchased another phone using my credit card. I was back up & running in no time. Three days later I received direct payment from Akko & paid my card back off. If I had filed the claim through Verizon's (Asurion) I would have had to wait until the following day, go back to Verizon, file a claim & potentially wait days on a USED replacement phone to arrive. Not to mention their deductible is 150% more than Akkos ($250). I realize some folks may not have the ability to repurchase on credit immediately. Even if I couldn't have it really only took 3 days to get paid. I did have to take the phone to an Apple technician to verify that it was a total loss. It was apparent from the photos that I sent in that it was not repairable but with the value of these devices being so high I can totally understand them wanting professional evaluation.

The response to my claim was fast and so was the the refund.

Everything looks great on the outside until I started asking questions about akko's lost mobile coverage before buying their phone insurance. Exchanged a few emails without getting a straight answer confirming they cover lost mobiles under their annual plan. The responses seemed deliberately vague about covering lost items so I rephrased the question in different ways to be very direct. Then the fourth response was the same as the first response. It was then I realized customer support was a bot and was never going to get the answer. Wasted only 10 minutes talking to it but glad I found out how frustrating their customer support will be. And that's when they need me more than I need them.

I was skeptical at first, but decided to try Akko. An insurance company that includes TWENTY-FIVE extra things? Wow. But <60 days after signing up, my wife dropped her iPhone and shattered the back glass. A long trip to the Apple Store and $499 later, she had a new phone. Within 24 hrs of submitting the receipt to Akko I had money in my account. Thanks Akko!!

Overall great experience, I have recently made claim for my iphone 14 pro through AKKO when accidentally my display cracked..no hurdles in claims process. Straight forward.I strongly recommend AKKO if you want electronic devices damage coverage
