Hi Rosanne, Thank you for your question! If you have the wireless version of the Selene fountain, this behavior is actually normal when it's not plugged in. The fountain is designed to conserve battery power by operating in Sensor Mode or Timer Mode, so it will automatically turn on and off rather than run continuously. If you'd like the water to flow continuously, simply keep the fountain plugged in and switch it to Keep Working Mode. Hi Karen, No worries — this is actually pretty common! Some dogs just need a little time to adjust to something new. 🐶💛 A few things that usually help: Start with the fountain turned off and let your dog sniff it (you can drop a treat inside). Add water but keep it off at first so there’s no sound. Keep it in the same spot as their old bowl. If needed, remove the regular bowl for a short time so the fountain is the only option.
