GearLaunch enables scammers to easily setup a webshop for scamming and does nothing to stop it.
A scammer is repeatedly posting a stolen sketch on t-shirts and sweatshirts to sell on a public Facebook group (Somes Sound 12 ½ sailboat group) under fake Facebook profiles using the GearLaunch webshop platform. In researching this its clear that GearLaunch is hiding behind their third party agreements claiming they are not responsible, but yet they continue to provide a means for scammers to scam and do nothing to stop it despite the endless complaints. Sending a complaint to their legal dept, as they repeatedly advise, is useless.

Hello Pags, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We truly appreciate your effort in reporting it. Please note that GearLaunch licenses a software platform that third parties can use to set up their own online stores and does not do any advertising or marketing for those online stores, nor does it print or ship items purchased from those online stores. At GearLaunch, we take these claims very seriously. This type of claims should be sent to [email protected], and they need to include the information outlined here: https://www.gearlaunch.com/dmca/ To help us investigate further, we kindly ask that you provide the name of the online store that the link directed to. Additionally, screenshots of the post and the Facebook profile would be extremely helpful in our efforts to look into this matter. However, because each individual store owner handles their own social media and advertising for their website, we strongly recommend reporting the Facebook posts and profiles to their support team directly. Please send us this information at your earliest convenience to [email protected], and we will take immediate steps to address the situation. Thank you again for your vigilance and cooperation. Best, GearLaunch
