Traditionally the healthcare system has been one-size-fits-some. Galileo was built to reimagine what modern healthcare should be from the ground up. One of the fastest growing tech-enabled medical practices in the country, Galileo is designed to deliver high-quality, affordable care for everyone. Through an easy-to-use app, patients can receive on-demand, 24/7 virtual care care for most conditions, from the common cold and hair loss, to mental health and diabetes. After downloading the app, patients are able to immediately connect with Galileo’s team of medical experts and get help, fast. Through the app, they can also receive prescriptions, order labs, or when needed, be referred to an in-network specialist. Care is delivered via chat, video, or audio, allowing patients to skip the doctor’s office and receive care, wherever they are. Galileo’s doctors are board-certified clinicians from the country’s leading medical schools, trained to deliver clinically excellent care to everyone. Galileo employs full-time doctors across primary care, specialty care, and mental health; with 30% of its clinical staff being fluent in both English and Spanish. Clinicians work together closely and coordinate their efforts, which allows for increased accuracy and the best clinical outcomes for patients. The Galileo service currently operates 24/7 across all 50 states.

I had several great experiences with this health care provider but had to switch to a different one when my insurance changed. 9 months later I received a bill for 2 services in 2024 and 1 in 2025, totalling almost $370. I never received services in 2025 since my insurance had changed. Email address on the statement comes back undeliverable. Another email I used back when they were my provider also comes back undeliverable. No good phone number. Access to their app errors out.

My daughter was running a fever and had an ear ache last evening. Our insurance company works with Galileo for virtual appts so we gave it a try. We filled out all the info at 9:30 pm, had confirmation of intake form and were told it would be a 20 minute wait. We heard nothing at all. We checked the app for messages this morning upon waking and we were contacted at 5:08AM. Unacceptable response time, especially at that hour when no one is typically available. We will not use this service again & I will be letting our insurance carrier know as well.

Hi Marie, thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize about the delayed responses you received. If you ever need urgent assistance with your case in the future, you are welcome to give us a call or message us in the "General Questions"/"Ask us anything" sections of the app and we'd be happy to escalate your concerns to our providers. If you have any additional feedback to share, or if you'd like me to take a look into your profile you can email me at [email protected].

Why are Galilio contacting folks, when they are not their patients. I'm not a patient of Galilio Medical. Are they going into personal records. I have a medical doctor. I have never been in Galilio office for any care. This is the 2nd time being contacted by them. Even had a nurse visit. I will contact my insurance company about this matter.

I had high hopes but intuitively knew impersonal care would not cut it and I was right. They open cases charge you then close and force you to open up new ones for same issue. A simple prescriptions refill morph into 2mths of Back/forth messages, same forms to complete and still no meds so literally waisted time and Money because I have to go to my regular PCP because I can’t miss another day of regular Meds. Run from this place because they are not honest and contacting a patient at 10p on a workday is next level unprofessional!

You are a numbers game with Galileo. They use multiple consultations to bill your insurance company, prolonging your treatment. Very unethical behavior. I’m surprised there’s no lawsuits again this company. I have experienced this with multiple cases. I had a consultation two weeks ago for a cold, today Dr. Stephanie Rowe asked me to have another consultation, the same cold, no medicine, no treatment. It’s such a repetive pattern. I hope the fed. gov and insurance companies catch on to this unethical behavior.

Quite frankly this company should be ashamed of their patient support team as well as their clinicians. I have been dealing with billing issues for an entire year. In the app I’m constantly told that I don’t owe anything then I receive a physical bill in the mail. I message in the app and am told “you don’t owe anything” ok then why send a bill? Also providers are exceptionally dismissive. In one instance a provider told me there wasn’t any medical evidence that a particular treatment was helpful for fatigue; however, a quick search of PubMed would yield multiple peer-reviewed studies that show the benefits of vitamin B injections. Furthermore patient support is takes pride in ignoring concerns as they never say anything aside from “please be patient” …why not actually address issues? Last Friday I was told that leadership would be in the office and get in touch with me. It is now Wednesday and the only reason I received a reply was because I messaged again. Galileo’s fraudulent billing practices and substandard clinical practice is beyond reproach.
