I gave Galileo a try based on its promise of simplicity and cost-effectiveness. Unfortunately, that promise couldn’t have been further from reality. I was charged for services I never requested—primarily basic medication refills, which my previous doctors never billed me for. Galileo turned what should have been a quick, routine interaction into a confusing and frustrating billing experience. They tied charges to “consultations” that I neither requested nor consented to, and justified them with vague policies and a seven-day billing cycle loophole. Worse, their prescription refill strategy seems intentionally designed to keep you trapped in a cycle of repeated billing. Instead of issuing longer-term prescriptions, they often only give you one-month or three-month supplies—forcing you to come back again just so they can charge you again. It feels like a business model built around generating revenue rather than providing care. Customer service was dismissive, inconsistent, and robotic. Even after raising valid concerns and asking for clarification, I was met with shifting explanations and no real accountability. Final thoughts: Stay away from this service. It’s designed to look convenient on the surface, but in practice, it nickel-and-dimes you at every turn while offering little transparency or respect for your time and intent.

Hi Antonio—thank you for taking the time to share this. We’re sorry your experience felt more transactional than caring. That’s not the intention behind our model, and it’s clear we fell short here. We know transparency and consent are critical, especially when it comes to billing and prescription refills. We’re reviewing how we communicate charges and refill policies to make sure they’re clearer and more aligned with what patients expect—and deserve. Your feedback is tough but important, and we take it seriously.
