I have completed the first year of tests. The first series of draws gave me great data to work from. I made some easy adjustments to diet and supplements. Then received the mid year report and found everything that was out of range either was now in range or moved in the right direction. The blood draws were easy and the app is easy to follow and schedule everything. Great value. I have referred friends and family and I hear similar reports back.

I am very concerned about the issues surrounding my recent laboratory testing through Function Health and Quest, particularly the errors that occurred during collection and the subsequent inaccurate information regarding my test results. According to the information provided by Function Health, Quest made multiple errors—not only during the collection of my blood samples, but also in how certain tests were documented. I was informed that some results were reportedly marked as “TNP” and that the tests were “cancelled at client’s request.” This is inaccurate. At no time did I request that any of my tests be cancelled. The blood collection itself was also problematic. During my first appointment, the clinician made three attempts in three different areas. During the first draw, the needle was moved while the vial was being removed, which resulted in an unnecessarily difficult and stressful experience. Because of these issues, I was required to schedule a second appointment for another blood draw. Subsequently, I received a request to schedule yet another, third appointment because I was told that several results were incomplete. Given my previous experience and the difficulties I had already encountered, I specifically asked to be contacted by phone to discuss the situation. Instead, I subsequently received a message stating that my results were now in and complete, without any explanation of what had changed or why another blood draw was suddenly no longer necessary. My husband experienced a remarkably similar situation. He was also asked to return for a second blood draw because of supposedly missing information. When we requested to speak with someone about the issue, his missing markers were quickly updated and we were then told that another blood draw was no longer necessary. Taken together, these circumstances raise serious concerns about the accuracy, reliability, and transparency of the laboratory process. The fact that results initially described as incomplete or requiring another collection can subsequently be updated without another blood draw, combined with the inaccurate notation that tests were cancelled at the client's request, is extremely concerning. This reflects poorly not only on Quest but also on Function Health, particularly because Function Health is the service through which I relied on these laboratory results and recommendations. I would like a clear explanation of: Which tests were initially reported as TNP or cancelled. Why they were documented as “cancelled at client’s request” when I never made such a request. Which specimens were considered inadequate or incomplete and why. Why I was subsequently told that my results were complete without another blood draw. Whether any of my reported results may have been affected by the collection problems. What steps Function Health is taking with Quest to ensure the accuracy and integrity of my testing.

Such a great experience. You find out so much more info than your regular doctor checks for. You see what you are low in and how to correct some situations. I can see how far I have come in a year since changing my habits,, and constantly trying to improve what I am low on. This site is worth every penny!!! I strongly suggest everyone joins!!
