This is a great option for individuals to get a head start on understanding what is going wrong internally. However, the cost for add on tests and images is way too expensive. This is not something most people can afford. In fact, many with insurance, it would be cheaper to not use function health for those tests at all. Additionally, the retest that is offered under the plan should automatically cover tests that were out of range. Those retests should be tailored for what a patient needs based on what was out of range on their first set of tests. To have people pay more to retest things that are important or out of range is cruel and shows the companies focus on just making more money and that it truly is not focused on patient care. I had recommended this to a lot of friends and family but the cost for add on tests and the fact that many of the important tests aren’t retested (seriously, who needs another urine test if everything was normal to begin with), is absurd. Your customer service is also non existent. Getting a response or even an accurate response is very hard. The summary results are AI generated content. I was disappointed in the redundancy across sections and a lack connection across certain labs that were missing.

I live 30 mins north of the largest city in Vermont, Burlington. I was very surprised to learn a blood draw testing site was not in Burlington. I had to drive 2 plus hours one way to Rutland VT. I printed the results and key clinical notes to my primary care at the Unviversity of Vermont Medical Center. The largest network of hospital through Vermont and northern New York. It would be ideal if the results could be shared directly with my doctor. Seems a preference to receive the results direct from the source. It would be far better than having to print on paper, 10 pages, and deliver them to my doctor. None of the doctors or other medical staff had heard of Function Health. The check in to draw blood was seamless and the technician was very skilled and trained. I appreciated the clinician's notes but would suggest adding a highlight or key point section at the bottom for specific areas to discuss with doctor. It would be nice to print just one or two pages rather than all the notes.
