We bought an upright Frigidaire freezer this spring. It was a 20 cu. ft. freezer. We had some meat left that we pit in the freezer and added a fresh quarter beef to it. Two months after we had the freezer it went out and we lost everything in it. Since that time I have tried to speak to someone in customer service and it is next to impossible to get a person. I was told that $200 was the maximum that they allowed for loss. We had over $1000 in meat in that freezer. I provided proof of our loss and in September 2021 I was told I would get an additonal $250. While that did not cover my loss it was at least something. Anyway I still have not received that $250 and have been told that no it was a total of $250. NEVER EVER buy Frigidaire. I won't. Customer service sucks!!!!!!!

Worst customer experience i have encountered
I made a simple online order through Frigidaire for two water filters (nearly $100 value) for my refrigerator. I thought it would be best to go through the company as opposed to a second party. Unfortunately, as i was waiting to receive the filters, my refrigerator broke and i need to purchase a new one the filters will no longer go in. I quickly went online to start a return to learn this is an EXTREMLY difficult thing to do through Frigidaire. They have no online mechanism for returns--no portal to submit for a return form. They supposedly have a chat feature, but it doesn't work on any browser I've used. So you're only option is to call the one available customer service number. When you call, you're ask if you have a small or large appliance question (a water filter is neither, so i guessed and went the small appliance route). After waiting on hold for nearly an hour, a customer service person quickly tells me he can't help me and i need to call another number for online orders. I ask if there's any way i could have known that number before waiting on hold for an hour, and he said no. So, i called the number provided - sent me to the Frigidaire contracts department who said they couldn't help me. They transferred me back to customer service, which hung up on me indicating "they currently aren't taking calls". So i called back the main customer service number a few more times until it didn't hang up on me. After waiting on hold for another hour I was once again told they cannot help me with online orders. Frigidaire, please tell me who i need to talk to to make what should be a very simple, straight-forward return! I can't help but think the company is being intentionally difficult and obtuse, so customers give up and eat the cost (for me $100 wasted). EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

Awful doesn’t even describe it
Awful doesn’t even describe it. 7 months trying to get a warranty replacement on a dishwasher that only worked for 2 months. They string you along, they lie, they waste your time, no show appointments. I just decided to count my loss and buy a replacement from a more reputable company. Don’t do it. Don’t buy anything from them.

I have an extended warranty from Frigidaire
I have an extended warranty from Frigidaire which is basically worthless to me. they refused to cover a broken part on the Laundry Center that is 3 years old. a clip broke on the machine front which is causing the dials to malfunction. This is from a family of 2 adults which uses the machine maybe twice a week. So because it's the cover of the unit it is not covered under the extended Warranty. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with supervisors who just kept saying the part is not covered. so my machine is now worthless because we can't start the dryer. I would never purchase a Frigidaire product or an extended warranty from them again. I learned my lesson the hard way. the technician said it will be a $300 fix. I would rather buy a new product then to give them any more of our hard earned money. I suggest you do the same

Worst Customer Service Ever
We are currently on day ten of no working fridge. The appliance was purchased in May of this year, and it broke down not even five months later. We have been contacting the company since the appliance broke down but they have not reached out or been helpful in the slightest. This is hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

Will Never Buy Another Frigidaire
I wish I'd seen this site when I was shopping for kitchen appliances 3 years ago. I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator because the appliance store didn't carry Hotpoint, my favorite go-to brand. This model looked very modern with French doors on top and bottom. It is now barely 3 years old and the freezer no longer freezes and the refrigerator is running at 43 degrees. I called Frigidaire, but their call line was busy and recommended I keep trying. I looked online and realized they wouldn't care because it was outside of the limited warrantee (1 year) and I didn't buy the extended warrantee (silly me: I thought most refrigerators last well past 5 years). The appliance store is backed up on trouble calls and all the other appliance stores are out of stock, so I can't even buy a new fridge. I tried to write a negative review on this model and Frigidaire kept rejecting it, apparently because they don't like their average dragged down by a one-star review (they gave several reasons for rejecting it, but none applied to my review). I will NEVER buy another Frigidaire and, if I can eventually get it repaired, I will replace it as soon as the stores get their shipments caught up.

Do not buy from Frigidaire if you value your sanity!
After making a lot of strange clicking and buzzing sounds within 2 months of purchase, the $900-plus refrigerator ceased working after 5 months! The repairman sent by Frigidaire said the compressor was shot and the whole appliance would have to be replaced. One hour waiting times to speak to a Frigidaire customer service rep is the norm - even longer if your call gets dropped and you have to repeat the process all over again. I'm not at all sure that I will ever be able to get Frigidiare to honor their manufacturers' 12-month guarantee, but it won't be from lack of trying.

I bought a Frigidaire cooktop from Home…
I bought a Frigidaire cooktop from Home Depot in Matthews, NC. in April. The glass top broke into about ten pieces. Figuring Home Depot would say I broke it, I ordered a new glass from Appliance Pros.com. On 9/19, I cancelled that order because they said, "Frigidaire has continually backordered this and we have no idea when we will see one."
I ordered the glass top from Easy Appliacne Parts out of Florida on the 19th. They told me the same thing so on October 18th...I cancelled that order.
Frigidaire complaints go unanswered, so I bought a new cooktop elsewhere.....and I'm forced to toss the $587.00 Frigidaire cooktop in the trash....never to buy another product from them or Home Depot! My name is John Tyler - Monroe, NC
