Horrible horrible experience. Will never use Frigidaire again. Extremely long story, but bought a freezer that failed to freeze at the top after three months of use. Had 8 separate visits over the course of the year, and the unit operated a total of about 5 of those 12 months. At the 12 month mark, they told me any further warranty would require payment, after they never fixed the issue. I fixed the issue myself, it is a failed design 100%. Search for it on printables and you will see that it is completely Frigidaire's failed design. If not for my own repair I'd, like others on this site, would have a $1000 boat anchor.

Zero stars should really be an option. The freezer compartment is unable to maintain a constant stable temperature. Fluctuates wildly. Food thaws. Bought new and in 3 months have had warranty repair out 3 times (4 if you consider the no show). Replaced controller. Problem persists. The last service technician called Frigidaire. Frigidaire refuses to acknowledge a problem. Said issue is due to the unit being in garage and outside temperature dropping below 40 or 50 degrees. The coolest it’s been outside recently is 63 degrees. Also, don’t have same problem with my other Frigidaire unit (also in the garage). Even moved the new refrigerator/freezer unit from the garage into the house. Problem still persists. Garbage product. Freezer temperature fluctuates between -20F and +36F. Does not reflect well on Frigidaire. Warranty is worthless. I so regret this purchase.

I purchased a Frigidaire stackable…
I purchased a Frigidaire stackable washer and dryer from Home Depo. Within two months of purchase, it was malfunctioning. Three repairs in the first year and two more under their extended warranty. They have decided the unit has to be replaced because t is junk! They say there is a clause in the warranty that states that I have to pay $174 to have the faulty unit removed and replaced. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I will never buy a Frigidaire product again. Terrible service with no consideration for the customer. They may as well have robots answering calls because they have all memorized the same lines. “I cannot connect you with a supervisor, or we will not remove the charge for replacement. Terrible company!! Think twice about purchasing their products. They do not consider the five times my tenant had to stay home to have the unit serviced. I guess her time and mine have no value. If you are having a problem, look at the California Lemon Law which applies in my case. I have the right to recoup all costs involved in a lemon appliance. Facebook is my next step to tell people about their crappy service and attitude toward customers.

Frigidaire knew they were building bad units. did it anyway
I bought a frigidaire freezer (m#FFFU20Fvw) june of 2021. by Feb 21, 2022 its dead (9 months). Frigidaire is really not wanting to talk to me. they shuffle me around and double talk me. I find out they KNEW they were building freezers with bad systems. they sold them anyway. They hope the warranty runs out before they die. NO MORE FRIGIDAIRE in my house. down right criminal.

Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware! I purchased a Frigidaire fridge from Costco in January 2021. The fridge started failing in Nov 2021 – it wouldn’t keep food cold in the fridge or freezer section. After trouble shooting on our own, we contacted Costco’s warranty department in mid Dec of 2021. They said because the fridge was still under manufacturer’s warranty that they couldn’t help us and to talk to Frigidaire. After multiple calls to Frigidaire’s customer service department (who kept repeatedly telling me I couldn’t read the serial # on the fridge in front of me) they figured out it wasn’t actually a Frigidaire fridge but made by Curtis International, who pays Frigidaire to put the Frigidaire logo on their appliances. I was passed off yet again.
A few calls and emails to Curtis later, I finally got a hold of their warranty department, and after sending in a bunch of photos they agreed to warranty the fridge. They said we would get either a new fridge sent to us or a cheque for what we paid at Costco. This whole process took weeks to go through. The warranty was approved in January (almost a month later from the initial contact), but they would not tell me what the resolution was going to be (either a new fridge or cheque). We had been without a functioning fridge since Nov and all I was asking was what option they were doing so I could either wait or go out and buy a new fridge. Multiple calls to customer service and emails to the warranty department left me with no answers. NO ONE could answer my simple question, their replies were vague, template answers and not helpful. And the warranty department will only reply to emails, and it takes days to reply and even then they don’t answer questions. I finally got an email for head office after calling customer service (again) and escalating my complaint to a supervisor. Again, only email (no phone) and days later they finally said they were sending a cheque (no timeline when). This was now 1 month from when the warranty was approved. I cannot understand why it would take 1 month to answer the question: are you sending me a fridge or a cheque.
Throughout this process I had repeatedly asked for someone to talk to me about the amount of the refund, because we bought it from Costco and used two forms of payment on the receipt (gift card and credit card). No one would ever call me or answer the question about the cheque amount until it was too late. The cheque arrived and it was not what we paid for the fridge! It was about $135 less, despite the fact that we sent them multiple copies of the receipt and I requested we discuss this before they sent the cheque. I still don’t know where they got that amount from that they sent me, as that number is nowhere on the receipt or anywhere near the retail price we paid.
This has been a horrible customer experience with this company. The communication is extremely poor and practically non-existent, and now not only am I out a fridge (which I had to destroy) but I am out $135 and I still have to go buy a new fridge! This all could have been avoided if they had communicated timely and properly. In retrospect, I would have demanded that Costso give me a refund and never dealt with this awful company.
I am in awe that Frigidaire would do business with such an awful company and put their name and brand on their products. I would be hard pressed to even buy a Frigidaire product again, in case it was actually Curtis again. And quite frankly, if their standards for partners are that low, I don’t want their products.

Tried two frigidaire dishwashers and…
Tried two frigidaire dishwashers and both had issues. To fix it they just give you a day and say we'll be there at some point between 8 am and 5 pm during the week. They sell pieces of junk that don't work properly and make you take time off just to get a WORKING dishwasher. The dishwasher is brand new and doesn't work properly. DON'T BUY FRIGIDAIRE!!!

Pray You Don't Have A Product Issue - The Worst Customer Service
Frigidaire apparently is one the few manufacturers that wants to deal directly with purchasers of their products. You wouldn't think so today after their service representative wouldn't let me speak to his manager and hung up on me.
I bought a refrigerator one month ago from a store in Vaughan. It arrived defective from Frigidaire.
The same day the fridge was delivered, I sent a video to the delivery department, who sent it to Frigidaire, showing the problems/defects. Someone was supposed to get back to us within a few days.
A few weeks later, there was still no call from anyone, no follow up. After a total of six calls, waiting 20+ minutes each time for someone to pick up, getting constantly passed off and their CSR's passing the buck back onto us to follow up with them once again if we don't hear back, we finally got a technician out to look at the refrigerator, almost one month later.
Repair guy stayed for less than 5 minutes and told us the unit was non-repairable. I called Frigidaire again, waited for another 20+ minutes, and spoke to 'Rodney', who put me on a long hold. He sounded bored and kept switching off his mike while I was trying to explain what happened.
He clearly wasn't interested in helping at all so I asked to speak to a manager instead. He said no. A few times he flat out refused. I asked why and he simply said because. Then he pretended he couldn't hear me asking and hung up on me. It was unnecessarily disrespectful.
This experience really left a terrible taste in my mouth. People, if you need to buy appliances, rethink choosing Frigidaire. Do your research and try to choose a manufacturer that won't treat you like total garbage after you spend thousands on their product.
