This is not an appliance company, this is a scam. “Professional” series refrigerator completely dead in less than 3 years from purchase. Have spent 10 days without a working refrigerator trying to get someone on the phone. Their call centre is constantly overwhelmed. I got through exactly once and was told that my case had been escalated and that I would get a call back within 24 hours. That was 6 days ago. Avoid this manufacturer at all costs.

I recently purchased a frigidaire refrigeratorm model FFTR1835VS, and I have to say, it is the loudest fridge I have ever heard in my life..Do not buy this model if you live in a condo, or small space..It will keep you awake all night.I have tried to contact customer service on atleast 2 occasions, and emails, but I am yet to hear or see a response..

We have been having trouble for the past two and half years with our barely five-year old Frigidaire microwave. It trips the fuse frequently and now has died. The repairman said the manufacturer placed a faulty, insufficient part in the product. I called Frigidaire customer service today, and finally (after nearly 40 minutes on hold), spoke with a service representative and then a manager. The manager offered a 20 percent rebate for a bad microwave that others have complained about, too (see reviews). When I told her (politely) that the rebate seemed insufficient, she curtly wished me a good day and hung up.

Purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on May 7, 2020. Several weeks ago, the freezer wasn't freezing ice cream or ice cubes and the fridge part was way too cold on the lowest setting (froze veggies). I took the back off and cleaned the coils hoping that would help (someone told me that may be the cause) but nothing changed. Unplugged it for hours and that also didn't help. Called Frigidaire and they gave me a repair service to call. I called and there is a 2 week wait time. There is a $170 trip charge, plus labor and any parts is extra and of course the cost is unknown at this time. So in the meantime, I had to throw out all the freezer foods and some fridge food. I will have to order/purchase another fridge and it WON'T be a Frigidaire!

Purchased a Frigidaire gas range that I need to convert to propane. Turns out Frigidaire is the only brand that does not provide the conversion kit with the range. They also do not make that known until you figure it out on your own when you go to install it. The part is in stock but when I tried to order it online it said shipping would take 2-3 weeks. I called customer service to have it overnighted and they charged $27.00 for a part that weighs about 2 oz. Cost $88 and they should have provided in the first place. Haven't even used the range yet and I am already NOT HAPPY with Frigidaire.

My fridgedaire electric range is less than 6 months old. While on the 2hr self cleaning cycle there was a loud explosion and toxic smoke pouring out of the vents. I disconnected power and called customer service. 8 days later a technician finds the factory coating inside the element compartment is burnt off and he says it may have an electrical short. He filed his report to fridgedaire and specifically mentions the burnt factory coating. I follow up with customer service and they falsely claim the burned factory coating inside a factory closed compartment is grease and void my warranty. A factory coating that cannot withstand the temperature of cleaning cycle is a production/engineering defect and furthermore the toxic fumes from it burning up is hazardous. It took 5 hours to clear out the toxic smoke from my house and the smell remained for days. So now I have wasted my hard earned money on a defective fire hazard appliance that fridgedaire will not replace. Buyers beware! Fridgedaire has zero intentions of honoring any warranties. No matter which number you call, you get caught in a viscous cycle of dead end call center incompetence.

Purchased brand new Frigidaire All Frig/All Freezer for new home. Refrigerator experienced a complete cooling failure just barely out of warranty (go figure) according to "certified" Frigidaire repair technician. That's where it gets interesting. Can't count the number of calls/chats with customer service/parts folks, and really don't want to count how many hours were wasted. Ended up getting 50% discount on "parts" to replace cooling system, which was couple hundred bucks off of a $1400 repair bill. Ordered the discounted parts, which were supposedly "in stock" on 2 day shipping, which I paid EXTRA for so my repair guy could install several days later. 7 days later....the parts haven't even shipped yet. When I asked what happened to the 2 day shipping, I was told that they will be there in 2 days.....AFTER they ship. I gave Frigidaire a 1 star because a one-tenth star option wasn't available. I know equipment breaks....my frustration is with the "customer service" that this company supposedly has. This has been one of the worst experiences of trying to communicate with a company that I have ever had, and I wish I would have read some of these reviews prior to buying these appliances. I will NEVER buy any Frigidaire or Electrolux appliance again.....and if you're smart....you won't either.

I hope I can save someone else from going through what we are going through currently with this company. This company we thought was a trustworthy company has turned out to have some of the most shady practices I have ever dealt with. We have a refrigerator we purchased new for $1800 when buying our new home. We have been in our home now for less than 6 months and fridge stops cooling, makes crazy clunking noise and the back gets hot enough to feel like a possible fire hazard. We immediately call frigidaire which is apparently a Electrolux company and end up spending an entire day to come up with the proper documents they requested where the fridge came new with our home. After this they finally give us a repair person appointment for nearly a week later from a third party who I can't even understand when speaking. Well today is the day they were supposed to show up and it's already 3hrs past the time they were supposed to be here and still have heard nothing. I then go online to read other reviews only to find this is exactly the same thing others have gone through and most saying once the repair person comes out they end up damaging the product worse than original problems. It is unethical to think a company can be selling a nearly $2k product that is this problem prone. If this experience does not turn around soon I will be making a YouTube video in hopes to warn others and seeking small claims as I can not afford a $2k loss along with all of our groceries now ruined due to this companies unethical practices. I really hope if you are in the market for a fridge you stay clear of this and do not do as we did relying on the brand name to speak for itself. We have used frigidaire products for most of my life but after this it's time to move on.
