HORIBLE products with even worse customer service...TOTAL JUNK products WITH total inept.. c.reps.

The worse customer service I have ever experienced! We purchased a Frigidaire 5 burner gas cooktop for our new home and it literally exploded the first week we used it and almost caught my husband on fire. Apparently, the cooktop was defective when manufactured; there was a leak& the gas built up underneath it and when we turned it on, it exploded. Frigidaire sent out a technician who replaced the defective part. If they were a good, reputable company they would have replaced it; when it exploded it lifted the entire cooktop including the heavy grates and scratched the stainless steel surface. They didn't care. The latest problem with the cooktop; none of the 5 burners will simmer! Rather difficult to cook when you don't have simmer option. I have called them at least 5 times and I'm always on the phone for at least a hour if not longer. I think the calls are answered by reps in another country. They have to put me on hold while they try to get an answer and several times I was disconnected. Funny thing is, they have my phone number but never bother to call me back when they either hang up on me or the call is disconnected. I couldn't find an email address for them so it's impossible to speak to someone that can help. We also purchased a Frigidaire double oven at the same time and it had to be replaced as it was also defective. Stay away from Frigidaire; there has to be better appliance companies. I'm just sorry that our builder used Frigidaire; it's been a nightmare dealing with these people! They may have been a good company in the past but that's no longer the case!

Technician never showed up Been calling them the whole day and got the answer "you are next in line". They ended by saying it was my fault I wasn't available. Lousy customer support, wouldn't trust their word.

We had a terrible experience with an appliance issue and warranty issue from Frigidaire and Electrolux. We had 3 months left on our warranty when it broke. 9 tech visits, dozens of customer service calls and canceled/rescheduled appointments, and 6 months later they tell us they will not honor the warranty b/c it is expired, even though it broke before it expired and they were the reason it was taking so long to resolve! They offered a small rebate on a new refrigerator if we wanted to buy one! Seriously?!? This $1330.00 one was less than one year old! Other than never buying Frigidaire products again, I am wondering if we have any recourse?

The rudest customer service at 1-888-360-8558. I placed an order a week ago online. I've now called five times waiting an average of over an hour only to be transferred 2-3 times each call then usually disconnected. Today, Lisa was so incredibly rude when I simply attempted to ask when the product will be shipped. She said the order was still "processing". Processing for over a week? When I said to cancel, she said I could not. They certainly didn't wait long to take the money from the credit card which was immediate when the order was placed. She was so rude throughout the call and I got no answers only to be told by her - this call is over. I cannot cancel online. I cannot get anyone on the phone. What a shame. Frigidaire used to be a reliable company. Never again.

Your customer support telephone number has been hacked by an a.i. that wants you to press 1 if over 55 and/or press 2 if not. Both bring you to the same a.i. message that wants you to purchase either a device that will alert an ambulance if you have fallen an cannot get up, or to an a.i. tape that wants you to purchase hearing aides at no cost to you. So, I need to know what is your consumer support for the USA's telephone number that is ligit and accurate telephone number answered by live agents and not an a.i. device that wants you to buy something for your old age.

It is my recent discovery that you can not safely purchase anything online from Frigidaire with your credit card. I ordered a water filter and they have decided that they would steal my information to enroll me in to a water filter replacement subscription. I did not authorize any subscription purchase and tried disputing it with them, but they like so many companies do not offer any customer service. I now refuse to make any further purchase with Frigidaire including any future appliances.

The Worst Customer Service Company on the market today ! I purchased a new Gas Range from Lowes and ordered a LP CONVERSION KIT to change unit from natural gas to LP gas. Frigidaire installation manual and care book does not state BTU rating for each burner. I called customer service and requested this rating and conversion chart from natural to LP gas sizing chart. Example: Burner rated at 18,000 BTU natural gas orfice is a size #220, a LP gas orfice rated at 18,000 BTU is a size #118. Customer Service kept telling me I need to get with my installer, all I wanted was a simple chart to state BTU rating for each burner and what size LP gas orfice to replace natural gas one. I worked on commerical Appliances for 30 years and technical service was easy to get from any Company. It took me 4 hours to research on internet to make proper conversion that would normally take 15 minutes . Note: LG GAS RANGE comes with conversion chart that is easy to use !
