Weird order cancellation xoerience
After placing an order i got an email that i needed to send an authorization code provided by my credit card provider. I called chase and they said they do not do this- the charge has gone through, but the merchant can reach out to them. I relayed this to fragrance x and they cancelled the order told me it could take 10 days to get my money back…. So clearly the charge did go through. No apology, just confirmation the order was cancelled. Spend your money elsewhere and don't waste the time. Companies should not be suggesting different processes than the credit card issuers themselves…. Obviously

Hi ! Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the frustrating experience you described. We completely understand how upsetting it is to see pending authorizations without receiving an order number or confirmation. Please know that our validation process is a required security step on both ends to protect customers and our company. We have been following this procedure for several years, and in most cases the approval code can be quickly obtained with a simple call to your financial institution. This usually allows the order to be released without any delay. We truly hope to have the opportunity to serve you in the future under better circumstances. If you have more questions or need further assistance, please reach us anytime at [email protected]!
